Accurate Pool Company

1/​13/​2014 – The first tiles that were installed poorly were removed and replaced by Accurate Pool Company. They took photos of the poor workmanship before the replacement took place. The NEW tiles look great with a high degree of workmanship. Therefore, I raised their rating. After this experience I must ‘suggest’ to all to inspect the work of anyone who is working on your projects. If there’s a problem, stop the work, take photos and call those who you hired.
Our swimming pool was being refinished by Shasta. The work began mid December 2013 with Shasta uses sub contractors for the actual work.
Last weekend, this Accurate Pool Company sent sub contractors to install a tile border within my swimming pool. I was told the worker would arrive early, around 7AM Saturday. Totally wrong information! In the late afternoon, I noticed «someone» in my pool doing «something». This worker failed to announce his arrival and/​or ID. Due to the setting of the Sun, this worker could do only part of the work. He claimed he would return early Sunday morning around 7AM to complete his end of the job. He did what no professional would ever do — he left his tools on site. On Sunday morning, I looked out into my yard and noticed my plant drip system torn up and thrown onto my patio. I attempted to call Shasta but they have no one on duty for weekend sub contract issues. Around 12 Noon another person arrived claiming to be the brother of the worker from Saturday. I prevented his entry onto my property since there was damage caused by the Saturday worker. This new worker called his brother who claimed he did not damage anything on my property. The first thing to do when you’re guilty is to deny! Too bad he didn’t realize all his actions were recorded on my security system!
I called Shasta and spoke with the Construction Coordinator. He could not believe the fact that his workers – Shasta has no workers as they have sub, sub contractors-​did damage to my property. To deny any damage claims may not work, so please think before making statements! The great thing I have going for me is that I have a nine camera security system that recorded the actions of the person sent by sub contractor Accurate Pool Company Inc located at 2432 W Peoria Ave Ste 1112 Phoenix, AZ 85 029‑4732, Phone 623−266−0508. Becky, from that Pool Company, spoke with me stating she had problems with these workers in the past. So why didn’t she address that issue before they got to screw me? I requested that Becky call me on Tuesday to confirm what course of action would be taken. She failed to call again. I am considering posting the video on you tube and other sites so that everyone can see what goes on by Shasta’s sub contractors.
Now for the tile work, a tile has already fallen off the wall. The tiles appear to have been just slapped on with poor cement contact. The area where several walls meet have two areas of one inch wide tiles. That’s not the way to tile UNLESS you don’t know what you’re doing! It appears that this «installer» did not know how or where to start the tiling. However, he saved himself the time cutting two tiles. This tile work is not acceptable and must be removed and reinstalled by a true professional-​not someone working out of the trunk of an old car arriving very late.
