I usually use über but because no drivers were available and my boyfriend and I were in a hurry we got in one of the aaa cabs. We had flown all day and were exhausted. The driver chose to sit in all lanes that would be the slowest and drive 5 mph under the speed limit, I swear to get money out of a very short trip since my boyfriend lived less than ten mins from the airport. As soon as we got home the driver rushed us out of the car without giving me a chance to grab my things which of course I left my phone in the car. I called the dispatcher who had to transfer me to a man who deals with the drivers. This man got very rude rude with me and hung up twice. I did get my phone and belongings back but I will never use a cab again from these money hungry scammers. Über will always be worth the wait!

Let’s see! Where do I start? I work for an Urgent care and am not the customer but here is my story. The doctors office across the way brought the customer over at 5:30pm seeing as the close at 5pm and we are open until 7pm. So the customer is patiently waiting in out lobby. at 5:45 she called the transportation company to get an updated ETA. She was told 45 min. She continued to patiently wait knowing we were open until 7pm and should have plenty of time. By 7pm, I start talking to her to find out if she had an idea of when AAA cab would arrive. She started talking to me about the whole scenario. She said she called earlier in the day for her ride to her Dr.‘s appointment and they were extremely late picking her up. She said she had called around 4:30pm for her ride home and was given a 45 min ETA. So I asked if she wouldn’t mind me calling on her behalf. I called the transport company who told us 5 min, that was at 7:22pm. I called the transportation company back 10 min later and by 7:57pm was told that they couldn’t give an ETA and that they had lost control. Needless to say the transportation company had to assign another company. Meanwhile the patient has waited as long as she has and because it is 110+ degrees outside my coworkers and I waited with her. After 12 hour shifts and the pt’s long day, we are all still waiting for a ride at 8:30 pm. No one should ever have that much run around. Worst service I have ever heard of and experienced in my life! Should be no stars but had to give something in order to post.

I only use their E85 gas station hard to find but worth it if you are by airport and need this type of fuel

on 8÷16÷11 at 7:45PM I took cab 142 from the airport to my residence. I entered the cab the driver asked where I wanted to go. I explained to my residence, but that it would be best if I driected him along the way. I said«best to take 202 off at Priest to Galvin up Galvin to McDowell.» He said, «OH a Short Fare!» I said«Excuse me? I always make the minimum as stated on your window and if my money is not good in your cab, you can let me out and I will be happy to take another vehicle?» He mumbled under his breath. I expalined that I take a cab weekly to and from the airport and that I am more than happy to find someone else… He said, «It must cost you a lot of money to take cabs you should drive.» I arrived home, had to get my own bags out of the vehicle and I called your dispatch to complain. I was told Managers were not in, however that someone would contact me on 8÷17÷11 in the morning. I have not received a call. I called back to dispatch asking to speak with the supervisor and the gentleman on the phone said«If you didn’t hear back, its because we are too busy.» I asked to speak to anyone else, he said«They are too busy to talk to you.» I said I would be happy to hold. He placed me on hold and after a few minutes I found that AAA Cab has a comment section on their website and decided to contact them there instead. If you have issues with them I highly suggest that you complain as well. Had I been a visitor to the area this would have been one of my first encounters with a service in the area. Not a sparkling review by any means. If you have a chance to take a different cab I would suggest that you do so. I use Clean Aire Cab frequently and adore them! Unfortunately, they are not allowed to pick up from the airport which keeps horrible companies like this in business!

Not entirely sure how I end up using AAA Cab. I think one night, I programmed the number into my phone because it was the first number I saw. Service isn’t as bad as everyone says. I’ve had them take me home from bars or friend’s homes. They are usually pretty prompt, and if you find yourself in a condo complex, you can count on the driver to knock on the door, so you don’t have to worry about going outside at 2AM in a complex you are unfamiliar with. I’d never use these guys to go to the airport or anything. SuperShuttle is around for that, but in a pinch, AAA has always been around to give me a ride. Seems like almost every cab has a credit card machine too. $ 10 Minimum.

Frankly AAA Cab deserves MINUS Five Stars as Mercy Care Advantage HMO ordered a cab from AAA for a Doctor Appointment and AAA never showed up and after 3 calls to them AAA told me that«The Driver Says He Cannot Find Your Address» and I had to reschedule the Doctor Appointment and again AAA Cabs prove they and Discount Cab are the Two Worst Cab Companies in Phoenix AZ. Donot Use either one of them. I filed a formal complaint against them with Mercy Care. As this Discount Cab also had a driver take off on me and made me miss an appointment with my primary care doctor last months too! AVOID Both AAA Transportation Cabs & Discount Cabs Totally! Incompetent Cab Drivers and Dispatchers. Mercy Care need new cab companies other then these two total disasters.

Could they possibly have anyone more unfriendly answer the phone? This lady seemed so beyond put out that I needed a cab that I told her I would call someone else if I was inconveniencing her hoping she’d take the hint but instead just got a long drawn out sigh on the other end. When I went to tell her I’d just call someone else then, she hung up before I finsihed my sentence like she’s used to hearing that. Me definitely thinks not!

A couple of weeks ago I needed a ride to the airport from my home. I called the night before and set it up. The car was on time at my home, but it was an old dirty cab, looked like the guy lived in there and it smelled like it too. When I returned home I walked out of terminal four and got a ride again from this company. This time it was a New cab, clean exterior and interior, courteous driver, right price. It was about $ 14 to the airport and $ 16 back home due to the driver thinking I wasn’t from here and I had to remind him of a more expedient(cheaper) route. 2 stars for the ride to the airport 3 stars for the ride from the airport

I called this cab company on my wedding night(May 1, 2010) to get us to the hotel & my family home. It took 2 hours for anyone to come get us. In my communications with them(throughout the 2 hours), at the 1.5 hour mark i just point blank asked how long it would be. I did demand this. They said if I continued to be the way I was, they wouldn’t send anyone. I just shut up realizing I was stuck in a bad part of PHX and needed a way home. What happened after was worse. My brother left his laptop bag in the back of the cab, with a digital camera, iPod & my marriage license. By 6am my brother was calling the company to retrieve these items but they said the cab had checked out already. 2 weeks later we have no idea where these items are. They were absolutely in the trunk of the cab, but the cab company says they don’t know who picked us up(they have multiple company’s under their umbrella). They said they would put a hold on the cabs they thought it was/were. For some reason, even though they did confirm we were a certain cab’s last run, they cannot attribute a cabbie to who took us home. They ultimately said after that they had no idea who took us home, and we were SOL. I have filed a police report but they said without serial numbers there’s no hope in hell to find our stuff. Basically, the cabbie stole our stuff, and there’s nothing we can do. The items were in the trunk, it’s not like another patron would have access to it. Also, they charged my brother $ 100 to go from Phoenix to Scottsdale(20 min ride, and we needed credit but a cash only cab came) which was why he was so pissed off and forgot about the stuff in the trunk. And the cabbie obviously didn’t give a shit enough to get the items out of the trunk for him either. Nightmare. $ 2000 nightmare that no one seems to be able to help with.(you would think they could search for the ride amount or destination in their files??? no?). One cab ride has amounted to so much pain in my life. I needed the marriage license to apply for citizenship, my brother needed the music on his laptop because he dj’s(and family photos). The whole thing makes me sick. It’s incredible, and on top of that they were the rudest cab co. I have ever dealt with. Thieves. There has to be SOME way to find out via the amount of the run WHO took our stuff. Please don’t take this cab co. it really is that bad.

The driver was not the issue. He was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. It’s the billing that sucks. I was given a very accurate estimate in the beginning and signed for a charge on my card. What did the billing staff do? Overcharge me by 20 dollars and I got slapped with my banks overage fee. I’ve been going back and forth with their billing office for two weeks now and more or less nothing has been done. The lady that processes card payments has yet to get back to me and doesn’t even have her own mailbox. Obviously, they are understaffed and technologically impaired.

NOTRECOMMENDED!!! Unbelievable experience. I needed a taxi to the airport. Called the night before to schedule. That morning, I called them when they were 20 minutes late. I was told the driver was a mile away. Five minutes later I called again and was told the driver was 2 miles away. I called every 5 minutes for over a half hour. Each time I called, the drivers distance changed. They were also rude and unappologetic. Thankfully I had a friend who was able to speed me to the airport. Luckily we were able to get there 45 minutes before my flight.

Twice now AAA has left me hanging for airport rides. The first time their driver showed up 15 minutes early – I asked him to wait while I finished getting ready. When I came out ten minutes later, he had already left. I was forced to drive myself and pay for $ 20/day airport parking. The second time I get a phone call 40 minutes before my scheduled pick up time. I told the operator my scheduled pick-up time and was told a cab would be there. No one shows up. I call and ask for an ETA, I’m told someone will be there shortly. Ten minutes later, I call again. Same thing. Ten minutes after that, I call a third time. Same thing. After another ten minutes, I finally decide to drive myself. Out of a sense of courtesy I call to cancel the pickup. The operator tells me the cab is only 10 minutes away! Only 10 minutes?! I was already 30 minutes late! Again, I paid $ 20/day for airport parking. Never again.
