History

Established in 2006.

I am a pro violinist with the only pro symphony orchestra in Phoenix and have been also playing at various events, weddings for the past 25 years. I was always ‘handled’ by a contractor who paid a minimal fee to the performing musicians and paid himself/herself a large chunk of money for basically doing nothing but make a few calls to book us. I got really tired of this scheme and decided to start a contracting company called A String Affair where the middle man would be all but eliminated. I contract but I also play. I want to make sure that my musicians are paid for their talents and artistry. Yet, despite that, we manage to have lower rates and deliver much better quality than most, if not all, of the remaining contractors in the Valley of the Sun.
