2 Doulas on a Mission is the collaboration of Katie DiBenedetto & Kelly Watkins — two bad-​ass doulas running wild in Arizona. We believe there is nary a crisis that can’t be solved with a good orgasm, a rockin’ massage, and a fresh green juice. Our style is based on the belief that women possess all of the knowledge and wisdom they will ever need — we are here to simply encourage and guide you towards activating your primal, intuitive all-​knowing. Women are powerful creators — a capability that should be celebrated and revered, versus quieted and feared.

2 Doulas on a Mission’s work with women and families is ever evolving — always shifting and reshaping as a result of personal growth, and a deep desire to serve women in the highest capacity.

Transparency is the name of the game here. We are not attached to getting/​keeping you as a client, rather our focus is on seeing you as a sister and getting you the information and services that you want and deserve.

Business Owner

My name is Katie, and I am an absolute birth junkie. The general public does not give us the best impression of pregnancy & birth — I was duped by this for years. Knowledge is power. Fear of the unknown is natural. Simply learning about the process of pregnancy and birth can alleviate our common fears. It is my great pleasure to support women and their families during these transitions.

In 2006 I had a very powerful dream that led me to quite my corporate job and dive into birth work. Through my doula work I discovered a more holistic way of living in general. I stopped using chemicals in my home. I started eating locally and organically. I looked at my body as a whole being — mental, physical, spiritual, emotional — for the first time. I believe that everything is connected. I believe we have the power to heal our minds and bodies.

When I’m not knee deep in placentas, I enjoy frisbee, cooking, blogging, biking, swing dancing and scrapbooking. And I travel whenever I get the chance.
