Victoria V Salon & Spa

My girlfriend and I had made appointments to Victoria V Salon and spa after she purchased Groupons for Mani/​pedis. While she handled the appointment making she did inform me that at one point she called to confirm and they didn’t even have her listed in the books.
Upon arrival to the salon we were greeted kindly by staff offered beverages and all in all were looking forward to a great afternoon. And don’t get me wrong it wasn’t terrible but I think maybe we had higher expectations.
While I do have a nice mani/​pedi going on the process of getting it wasn’t so enjoyable. My friend and I had to keep swapping chairs as there was only one manicurist and apparently only one working chair for the pedicures. The lady was friendly and talkative as was the rest of the staff but I’m used to a Mani/​pedi where they soak your legs/​hands, hot towels and lotion are involved. Relaxing stuff right?! This was basically a sculpt the nail, paint them and done kind of deal.
My friend and I agreed that had we come here paying regular price it would’ve definitely not have been worth it. As a mani starts at $ 12 and a pedi at $ 33.Much rather prefer to go to my local Chinese nail salon where you get better value for your money!
