Veronica Makeup

I wanted to do a follow-​up review of working with Verónica at my wedding on October 18, 2015.
First, I want to note that I confirmed with her about location and logistics about two weeks before the wedding. She immediately responded via text and was so enthusiastic. She also followed up a week and then a few days before the wedding, reminding me of the lipstick that she had used and what I should make sure to have in my bag.
The day of the wedding she arrived about 20 minutes early to set up for working on me, my mother, and future mother-​in-​law. She started with the mothers (I posted pictures). With both, she was welcoming and conversational. With my mother-​in-​law, who primarily speaks Italian, she still engaged and communicated, giving her what she wanted, a natural look. She had been very excited to be having her make-​up done for the wedding and the experience met her expectations and more. Both mothers were so pleased at the care that Verónica showed and for her great skill in highlighting their best features, which definitely shows in the pictures.
As for me, it was WONDERFUL to work with Verónica again. She’s an easy conversationalist and totally professional. She had the pictures from the tester session to which she referred throughout the process. I had pretty tight time restraints, and she met them with ease. Arrived and finished early.
By the way, I tell everyone that I’m not a human being in the morning, but she was calm and focused that morning, which gave me such a great frame for beginning my day. It was easy to be joyous and excited and not worry about the details of the wedding at that point. It was such a treat to relax and trust that we would be well taken care of.
Working with her actually has me wanting to set up a tutorial so that I can learn from her magic! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. She was a part of that. I would love to learn more about how to conjure that feeling more often.
As someone else has said, she is «insanely talented». She’s also kind, sweet, generous in her attention, and calming. I would recommend her to anyone.

Veronica recently did my makeup and I was very happy with her work. Veronica is very talented and she did a great job. I was really impressed with the eyelash application and eyebrow shaping! Veronica made any adjustments that I asked for and she was a true perfectionist. She has a great personality and I would recommend her to anyone.

I found Veronica on Unilocal after searching high and low for someone. I reached out to her because she had the best ratings and reviews for any makeup artist I read about in my area. It turned out that finding Veronica was the best stroke of luck I had during my wedding planning! I did not have a bridal party and I wanted a low key, stress free makeup experience for my special day. I knew from our emails back and forth that I would like her right away and when I met her for my trial it was like I was meant to know her. She is so easy to talk to and so cool about the whole experience. She made me so comfortable. The trial was fabulous and I got compliments all day and night on my glamorous lashes! When some of my friends saw the results they wanted to get makeup done for my wedding as well.
Yesterday was my big day and it was the most beautiful I have ever felt! She did such a fabulous job and my friends and family loved her. My mom was literally standing over her trying to learn about what she was doing and Veronica was so chill and fun about it.

Veronica is the best! She did the makeup for my wedding– including myself, 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-​in-​law, and made everyone look absolutely amazing.
I had gone to a makeup trial with a different makeup artist, and was disappointed with how caked-​on the result looked. I kept searching and found Veronica on Unilocal (thanks, Unilocal!) with great reviews, and booked a trial with her at her center city apartment. She was extremely friendly and professional, and I loved how she was able to make my dry skin look dewy and glowing without looking like I was wearing too much makeup.
On the day of the wedding, she was fantastic as well. She showed up to the hotel early to set everything up, and actually finished everyone’s makeup earlier than scheduled! As my photographer said, «whoa, that basically never happens!» She did such a wonderful job making everyone look great in photographs, and taking into consideration people’s allergies. My mom NEVER wears makeup, so Veronica was able to tone things down for her style and age, and she looked incredible!
Not only did Veronica do her job extremely well, she was also fun to have in the hotel getting ready – she’s just a really nice and genuine person who you will not regret hiring. Thanks for a great and stress-​free wedding morning, Veronica!

So A friend of mine suddenly shows up one day with her face absolutely stunning, breathtaking! I KNEW someone did her makeup. The question was WHO?!! ;)
Quick note* I’m very demanding.
But… Once again she is unbelievable.
From the first moment we meet She genuinely listened to me.

My sister just got married in Philadelphia this past weekend and had Veronica as our makeup artist! Veronica took the time to consult all five of us ladies on what each of us wanted for our «look». She was so patient with each of us and respected our time constraints for the day! Veronica has a wonderful gift at enhancing a woman’s beauty! If you feel good on the outside, it can only make you feel better on the inside! Of course, I give Veronica five stars and then some! :)

She is insanely talented and also very understanding when you want adjustments or changes. I’m not really a makeup wearing girl. During my trial, I had trouble getting used to the lipsticks Veronica tried and the amount of eye makeup– I seriously have issues with makeup! She was so understanding and said she appreciated my honesty. We worked through some other options and I’m so glad that I chose Veronica to work with!
At the end of the day, I was blown away with the end product. Veronica came to my hotel the morning of my wedding and did most of our makeup, which we were all very happy with. Thank you Veronica!

I found Veronica on Unilocal while I was searching for make-​up services for my wedding. I wanted someone to come to the venue to provide services for all the members in the party. She responded quickly, and we made an appointment for a trial that was convenient for both of us.
When I went to her for the trial, she was extremely friendly. She was very receptive to what I wanted (usually I find artists say yes to your requests, and just do what they want anyway) and everything turned out great!
The day of my wedding she showed up early and ready to go! Everyone (including myself) was more than pleased with the services, and everyone looked great. I really could not ask for more! I would recommend Veronica to all of my friends and relatives, as well as everyone on Unilocal

I had a great experience with Veronica. As a natural blonde with a light complexion, I always felt like I couldn’t wear eye makeup well because all of the dark colors my friends were using stood out in a way I felt didn’t compliment me. I went to Veronica seeking help for simple day and night looks in colors that were subtle. She showed me some easy enhancements with great colors. I’ve incorporated her changes into my routine, and feel like I really got the natural looking boost I needed. She’s a sweet person and her prices are very reasonable. I would definitely seek her help out again and recommend her to a friend!

I have had horrible experiences with makeup artists *cough* at MAC *cough*. I have some personal ideas about makeup + me, like, for example, that I don’t think foundation looks «right» on me, and I don’t think I have lips made for wearing lipstick. It’s just not me. I can’t count how many times I’ve been pressured into wearing foundation when I. Don’t.Wear.Foundation. It makes me look completely crazy, and I hate it. Veronica was the FIRST mua that didn’t pressure me into it… In fact, she actually agreed with me that I look better without it. THANK YOU! I’m not crazy!
I first heard about her through Anju (of AnjuThreads), who was hosting Veronica at her threading salon as one of her summer pop-​up events. I was celebrating my birthday the week before the event, but figured that if Anju liked her, I would to. AND I LIKE HER! She came to my apartment and got me ready for my birthday with a gorgeous purple smoky eye. I was a complete mess that day because a billion things were going on, including the venue for my party changing 3 times in a day, and the built-​in shelves I installed over my bed fell ON TO MY BED while I was at work (and thank god, not in bed), but Veronica was completely calming.

I was so impressed with my make-​over, I asked Veronica to do a PopUP at my salon so my clients could enjoy and learn about her services. and that’s saying a lot. :)
I do a decent job with my make-​up. I’m not clueless, but I do tend to have the same «look» no matter what products/​colors I put on. Maybe it’s habit. I don’t know. But I wanted to step it up and try something fun. Veronica gave me a beauuuutiful make-​over with a subtle smokey eye, nude lips, and flawless coverage. WOW. That’s all I can say. I took some pics, but they don’t do the make-​over justice. It was a glammed-​up me and I loved it! She showed me a few things so I could re-​create the look on my own. YAY :)
Why I think Veronica is a great make-​up artist? I saw her create so many different looks on my clients — all varying ethnicities and make-​up preferences. She was patient, professional, and fun. You can tell she loves what she does and she wants YOU to be happy. If you’re not thrilled with something in the make-​over she’ll fix it.

Veronica is great. She really works with your coloring to tailor makeup to your face. She did a smoky eye for me but used browns & purples to go with my eyes instead of the traditional all gray, and it looked fantastic! She is also super clear in explaining what she’s doing and why. I was very happy with my makeup and with the experience. Definitely recommended!
