University Thrift Shop is a community resale shop in the midst of the Temple University business and residential area. We carry gently used, new and designer clothes for the entire family. We also carry home goods.

History

Established in 2008.

Our vision is to reach a diverse customer base within our community, students, seniors and families. We also want to promote a community culture of recycling and sharing with each other goods which we may no longer use but can be something useful and of value to another member of the community and beyond.

Sheila J.

Manager

Sheila Johnson is a lifetime resident of North Philadelphia where she attended high school and college obtaining a degree in Liberal Arts in 1985. Upon receiving her degree she began a professional career within the banking industry taking on sales and management roles for 20+ years. Sheila has received numerous career achievements/​accolades during this time for her excellence in Customer Service/​Relations, Business Development and Sales. Sheila was able to achieve this by staying connected and embracing needs of the customers and business owners that are a part of the local Philadelphia community. Sheila is currently taking a hand with in beginning her entrepreneurial career by co-​operating a community Consignment Store. Sheila also has a love and skill for Interior Design and Fashion, her home and style always reflects her exquisite and impeccable taste.
