Nice people, but really difficult to work with. Worked with them a few times hoping it would get better, but it didn’t. I arranged for a house cleaning and it had to be rescheduled 3 times and about 10 phone calls later it finally got done. Similar to the other post, they say they will be at your home first thing in the morning, but they were late, double booked and unable to come, and countless other delays or cancellations. The job was ok, but I just wouldn’t go through the hassle again to coordinate.

Not Worth The Headache
We hired UMA because we were looking for a licensed, bonded, and insured cleaning service that we could trust with our apartment while we are at work. At first things seemed good. Jodie responded to my first email right away and we chose UMA over some other cleaners in the area because of her availability. However, we soon found out that we must have caught Jodie on a good day, because every other time we tried to communicate with the home office it was like talking to a brick wall.
My follow-​up emails were never answered. My phone calls were not returned. And when you do get Jodie on the phone you can tell she is overwhelmed. She keeps no records of who was in your house and her scheduling is poor. The cleaners who came to our place showed up 2 hours BEFORE the 2 hour window Jodie instructed me to give them. When my girlfriend explained that we were not there to let them in, they were very rude to her. She could even hear one of them complaining about her in the background. I realize that it was 1pm on a Friday, but why should we feel bad that you want to skip out early and start your weekend?
The cleaners who came did a great job on our apartment. That’s why I gave UMA two stars. But everything else that comes with UMA is too much to make up for a good cleaning job.

Stood me up again. Emphasized that they need to come 8AM on a Monday morning… said needed to leave by 10AM and if they can’t do that time, they need to just tell me and I’ll reschedule some other up-​front. They assured me they can do it… they’ll be here LATEST by 8:30. I agreed to that.
Called me at 8:40 on the Monday morning saying it would take them 20 minutes to get to me.
And I think they stood me up one other time.

I had UMA come in to do some serious spring cleaning on my condo; base boards, dust on top of exposed ducts, microwave and everything else. I couldn’t believe how quick a crew of 4 was able to get in & out AND leave everything sparkling. Thanks UMA!
