Thank goodness this place is closed. The service was dreadful and their lack of fresh stock must have finally caught up to them. Alas, I am reviewing because I cannot stand to see them have 4 stars(even though closed.) I still harbor resentment to this place because I returned a dress for store credit only to return to a closed store to redeem that credit. Their stock was so lacking that I should have guessed they were closing.

I love this store! This is where I first started integrating color into my wardrobe. I bought a teal dress! Tony is full of unique clothing and accessories that you can get for under $ 100. I only had to try on one and I was sold! The sales chick was honest and friendly. Next time I stop off in Philly, I’ll be stopping by Tony to get myself a new dress!

Tony allows me to utter the dreaded ‘PANTY’ without vomiting a little in my mouth!(i know, now you’re hooked) To elaborate, the panty parlor situated on the upstairs floor of this small but so fun old city shop is a little nice, a lot naughty and overall awesome. Residing right around the corner from Tony would be a dangerous feat if this store didn’t offer surprisingly affordable clothing/accessories/trinkets galore. I would not be able to resist, and luckily I don’t have to. The inventory turns over at a nice pace, which allows for a dynamic window shopping experience every time I walk by — which I usually don’t. translation: this is definitely one of those stores that I cannot pass without something shiny or sparkly grabbing my attention. I especially enjoy the bags(oh, heavenly bags!) and the cute jewelry. I love that the trendy yet unique clothing they carry is from independent designers, yet doesn’t cost a months rent, unlike most of the adorable yet unreasonably priced boutiques in this area. The only thing missing from Tony is good vintage, but I guess that’s just not their genre, so I’ll let it slide. The staff is always super friendly, and clearly doing there job well because I haven’t walked out empty handed yet! PS: I covet my faux patent leather neon yellow hobo even more than designer bags 5x the price. I’m JUST Sayin’

Teeny, tiny store with cute clothes and accessories. The stand out for me is their selection of bags. Maybe that’s because I’m a bag whore. They have some awesomely cool bags that are very reasonably priced.

This teensy store is home to some seriously cute clothes and accessories and Pamela, the owner, who is so nice that you want to buy things even if you don’t need them. But the biggest surprise is… you guessed it…“The Panty Parlor.” Climb those spiral stairs and you’ll find an attic-sized spot full of seriously sexy undies. I’m a big Mary Green mesh lingerie girl, so I was feeling it big time. And the lace-trimmed boy shorts with the word«Whatever» in script on the hip… let’s just say that I covet them big time. Lots of stuff for brides & brides to be, too, from the fancy schmancy to the kitschy. Yes, «panty» is one of my most hated words of all times. In fact, I’m feeling a little queasy just writing it. I think I will go take a bubble bath and wash off the feeling… so I’m with Stephy S. and her multiple suggestions for a re-name. My vote goes to «the Bloomer Balcony.» Because the word«bloomers» is just funny. Whatever you call your underthings, it’s worth the visit to Tony.

Oh boy. It happened. I was hit with my least favorite word ever and it hit me in this store like a creepy french kiss from a guy with super chemically-whitened teeth too big for his face.(Gotta love that visual). So what was the word… panties. Ugh, why, why, why was that word ever invented. To make matters worse it was coupled with another word that sent my cooties and skin crawly senses on a rampage… panty parlor. Couldn’t it have been called the Bloomer Balcony? The Lingerie Lounge, The Undergarment Underworld? Anything besides Panty Parlor. Ick, I can’t even type that. But hey, that is JUSTME(well me and a few other panty word haters around the world), but what the name lacked in awesome, the parlor made up for with stuff and I can’t wait to wear these on my next hot date/sex adventure/book club/yeah you get the point. They are these adorable blue and lacy boy shorts that say… Whatever. Ha! Love it and will really enhance the mood, don’t you think? I also scored a really cool blue and orange clutch bag that is awesome. Tony is just a great little store with plenty of cool things to look at and buy!

The only thing I like finding more than cute clothes and accessories is finding cute clothes and accessories that aren’t expensive — because then I can buy more of them! — and Tony is the best place in the city for that. With a lot of small boutiques, you’ll find great stuff — but it costs more than your rent. Tony not has cute clothes and lingerie from fun labels — Max and Cleo and Mary Green, for starters — but it’s pretty affordable too — especially compared to the prices elsewhere in the area. As great as the clothes are, I have to admit I normally go there for accessories — fun sunglasses, funky necklaces and unique purses are easily found there, which is great if you’re looking for something a little different. Pamela, who owns and runs the place, is incredibly helpful and gotten me out of plenty of fashion emergencies in the past. There are things perfect for day-to-day wear and also for big swanky nights out, it just depends on what you’re looking for — but chances are you’ll find it here!

Cute boutique with great clothing and accessories. Every shopper is treated well. It’s a tiny space, but you’re bound to find something you like. And you can shop here with confidence that no one else will show up at the party wearing the same thing as you.
