Setting up an appointment was very easy — they have an online booking calendar that lets you pick the time and date without ever talking to anybody. And they email you reminders of your upcoming appointment. The problem here was that when I walked in the door for my appointment I was informed that their entire system was down. I could either reschedule, or wait 30 to an unknown number of minutes and fill out a bunch of paperwork, and with some luck I may get that exam in. Oh and by the way, they could only take cash today. Wonderful. I recognize that this is not necessarily the fault of the physician, and the fact that her front desk staff were very nice earned this business the 2 stars. But I will say that this group is attached to Jefferson, and this is the 3rd time in the last year that I have tried and failed to get an exam done because of some kind of back office or system bulls – t. It is certainly not a problem that Dr. Abdul Rahman caused or has a great deal of control over, other than to say she should pick her system providers a bit more wisely. Interestingly, when I went home and looked at the online scheduling book I found it still up and running. Perhaps they operate on different systems, but a phone call alerting me of their inability to see patients would have been the professional response to this technical problem.
