We know that every customer is different, so every meal, every lesson, and every bite will be tailored to your wishes. Here at Thyme Bandit, it’s all about good food for good people!

History

Established in 2014.

Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, my most cherished memories were created around the dinner table. When I went to college at Penn State University, I fell in love with making food for people. I started working in a small sandwich shop, where we served a large number of students looking to eat after a night out. I graduated a with a BS in Energy, Business, and Finance in 2010 with dreams of feeding thousands across the country. Life and business change, however, and in 2012 I moved to Philadelphia with my lovely wife.

After moving to Philadelphia, I enrolled at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, and in 2014 earned an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. For two years I worked for an amazing chef and mentor, Jeff Power, at Detterra Restaurant in Ambler, PA. In the course of my studies and work I have cultivated a passion for delicious fresh food prepared with care, finesse, and most importantly… LOVE!
