This is one of the best boutiques in the area. I regularly visit, usually with my little dog, and almost always end up getting something adorable. The staff is helpful, extremely friendly, but not overbearing like in some shops. Definitely recommend stopping in this place.

I love this store. They have a great mix of clothes and accessories (including things you might not expect, like a cute display area for some beautiful lingerie). You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into what she stocks and is genuinely interested in helping you find something you love, without pressuring you to buy anything at all.
I was in the store recently with my sister and while she was trying on some dresses the woman who was working (I think she was the owner) took the time to bring over another similar dress that she thought would look good on my sister. We also loved that her adorable dog Casey was hanging out in the shop that day, because who doesn’t love to get some good quality time with an awesome dog?!
Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Cute stuff, but the staff was a little off so I probably won’t be back. I visited last weekend with a friend (my second time in the store) and the sales clerk followed me around the store straightening every single hanger a few seconds after I touched it (it appears she wanted every hanger to be the exact same distance apart– maybe 1 – 2 inches). I worked in retail as a teenager so I was careful with the clothing and the hangers had barely been touched. I found this behavior obnoxious and unnecessary, and ultimately asked the sales clerk if I was disturbing her merchandise.
We left quickly and went to Sugarcube where we found cute clothing and a very helpful staff that made our purchases breezy! I’m posting this review so the owner knows and can instruct her young (and seemingly inexperienced) staff to wait until customers leave to straighten up behind them.

Ive been popping into The Geisha House for a while now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I am thrilled to see beautiful unique items. Cortney is wonderful and always a HUGE help. The Jewelry is A M A Z I N G every time I leave I am so so happy with my purchases :) Keep up the amazing work, Im always anxious to see what will be there next time!

Also a new find of mine, and also totally didn’t open on time, but SUCH cute stuff! Clothing, jewelry, everything is cute and she gets in new styles frequently, so I will be sure to stop back for their fall items. The woman working (who I believe was the owner?) was very helpful and SO sweet, and I didn’t feel pressured to buy which was a relief from some other places around. I felt like I could ask her opinion on clothes too if my sister wasn’t there to help me, and I would have valued her advice. It made the experience even better!

I just love love love this boutique. I have been a loyal customer since the first time I shopped there. The owner Cortney is WONDERFUL ! She knows what looks the best on you. she is super sweet and personal able. The selection in the store are just AMAZING! I love their jewelry. Cortney just knows what a woman should have in her wardrobe. She has the most beautiful pieces that you cannot find in other boutiques around the area. Make sure you go check the store out if you are in the area!

I don’t really think I need to elaborate on how wonderful this store is. From the clothing, to the jewelry, and right down to the owner, Courtney. As a regular shopper in this store, Courtney had constantly pushed my boundaries fashion wise. I constantly say that I am not cool enough for the stuff she shows me, but she continually proves that, in fact, I am! I love this store. Casey the dog makes it even better when she automatically rolls over for a belly rub from me, and of course Courtney’s mom, Allison is there to help in shelling out compliments left and right.
I will forever recommend this store to anyone looking for anything, really. It’s a very eclectic store, fashion wise, and caters to nearly anyone.

This place is dangerous. Why you ask? Because I love everything here! Styles are unique yet trendy — things you don’t find at your average department store.
Also, they have a great instagram account. I actually came into the store a couple times because of things they posted through instragram — I commented on a picture, asked them if they had my size, and then picked it up later that evening! Easy peasy!
My absolute fav clothing boutique in Philly. End of story.

My friend and I both loved Geisha House. We came to the area in search of some really cute dresses, and despite having different styles, we both found something within our budget and in our style. I found a really cute print dress for around $ 80 and my friend found an adorable purple dress for under $ 50. They also have adorable accessories, shoes, and all that you’ll need to wear your dresses in style and comfort. Great service and nice roomy changing area in the back. This might be one of my new go-​to shopping sites. Thanks, Geisha House!

A friend of mine (what’s up, Kylie!) told me about Geisha House when we got together for coffee last week. Since it was in the area and I had some free time, I took a stroll on over to check it out for myself.
First impression: super cute shop! I started chatting with the woman working who I quickly found out was filling in for her daughter (the owner of the store) that morning. She could not have been nicer and it was really nice to chat with her as I shopped.
I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but ended up trying on four different pieces. There were two that I really liked but I ultimately went for a dress for just under fifty bucks. As I was paying I also took note of the many great accessories and small gifts. I had to hold myself back from impulse purchasing several more items.
I was beyond bummed when my favorite Old City boutique recently closed, but I’m thrilled to have found a new store that I like just as much!

First saw a sampling of this adorable boutique at the phillymag shops event, been meaning to run over and check it out ever since, and today the stars finally aligned. I loved it– I am a pretty traditional girl and I love that the clothes she has are hip and chic, a little edgy… but not to over the top. Prices are more than reasonable! Will be back again soon! :)

I was looking for something to wear to an all-​white party and found the perfect dress. so I returned a week later for looking for something to wear to my own birthday party and hit the jackpot again. the cutes romper ever. I cannnot wait til next week. This boutique is at the top of my list and my go-​to place for that cute outift that you won’t see everywhere. I shop at Nordstrom alot but they have some stiff competition now.

I’m a strict J. Crew-​kinda person, and I felt as though I needed a change. Off to The Geisha House I go, the newest boutique on N. 3rd Street!
Since I am so unimaginative and business-​casual type person, The Geisha House was a huge change for me. There was a lot of casual but romantic, hip but «not trying too hard» clothes as well as accessories and jewelry. Cortney, the owner, picked out a bunch of clothes for me to try on, and I ended up purchasing a few pieces that my friends will be surprised to see.
A great addition to Old City, and I’ll be stopping by often (also to see the shop pop, Kacey!).

With my sister visiting Philadelphia for the first time, I knew that I wanted to take her around to as many neighborhoods as possible — and definitely hit up Old City and their cute boutiques. We had just come from Chinatown, and as we walked south on 3rd St I was surprised to see a boutique I had never heard of before. I had to check it out — if only so that I could then review it on Unilocal (score!) — and so my sister and I eagerly entered, my fiancé obligingly following us in.
The Geisha House is really cute — a small boutique that is well curated with a bunch of pretty dresses, tops, and a jacket that IF they had had my size in stock I would’ve definitely purchased right then and there regardless of my credit card’s pleas for mercy. The salesgirl was really nice, offering help but also letting us wander around undisturbed. I will definitely be back to check out what new items come in for spring!
