Well, I just got back from the Rodrigo | Bizet concert at the Kimmel Center. The chamber orchestra played in the Perelman Theatre which had great acoustics. I just loved the intimate feeling compared to the Philadelphia Orchestra in Verizon Hall. The players here are all wonderful. Plus, they include other instruments like classical guitar which adds to whole concert experience. Right length for a concert which ended in an hour. Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia has it just right by selecting music pieces that all have a similar theme.
