Swig – Event Staffing & Coordination

Swig is awesome!
My new wife (o; and I recently hired Swig for our New Hope, PA wedding for 125 guests — 2 bartenders, 3 servers and Sara as our Day of Coordinator.
Our wedding was completely DIY and there was a TON to organize. We had multiple locations (both with bars), 2 food trucks, a caterer, a band, a photographer, a videographer, a trolley, a hotdog machine, etc, etc…
Long story short, there was a LOT going on. And while we loved all our personal touches and details we were so afraid it would all fall apart and that we may have been over ambitious with our planning…
BUT with Sara and the Swig team our fears were completely unwarranted. Everything ran so smoothly! We could finally let go and enjoy our amazing wedding day. Everything was set up before we knew it and just as we’d wanted it. Sara has a knack for being there when you needed her and not stressing us brides out over tiny details. She was perfect and so was her team. We could never have had such a successful day without them.
Plus, they are a genuinely nice bunch of people who were both professional and fun. Just plain GREAT to work with! We’d recommend them in a heartbeat.

We used Swig while hosting a wedding party at our home. We had 60+ people in not a particularly big home and it went off without a hitch. Swig came and set up early and was totally self sufficient. We had a crowd that likes their cocktails, and Swig delivered with some great margaritas and plenty of other great drinks. Staff was totally professional — Steve in particular was great.
They took a lot of stress off of the hosts — well worth it. They will be at our next oversized bash.

We use Swig for our FNA chili cookoff after party. They did an amazing job. Sara started by telling us exactly what we need to make it happen within our budget, and then took care of everything from there. Couldn’t be happier.

I used Swig for an event last Friday (50+ people) and they were FANTASTIC! Their servers and bartender went above and beyond my expectations. All of my guests were commenting on how good they were. Many thanks to their entire team.

We hired Swig to bartend our wedding in New Tripoli, PA and were thoroughly impressed from the start with their professionalism. They were reasonably priced and made sure to present our signature drink in a special pitcher and even managed the foursquare special we had set up for our wedding. Overall, great service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional bartender to serve at an event.

I hired Swig to bartend a party of 40 or so people this past Saturday night, and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience from start to finish. Sara, our bartender and Swig’s owner, was extremely helpful in advance, providing a great shopping list of liquor and mixers, then re-​writing the list to help suit the tastes of my guests (which lean away from wine and towards the hard stuff). She even helped me come up with a fun twist on the specialty cocktail of the night (a pineapple upside-​down martini) by rimming the glasses with crushed graham crackers.
Sara answered all my questions quickly and professionally, and even though I had a thousand balls in the air while party-​planning I always felt like at least the drinks were well in hand. That was a big thing to not have to worry about!
At the party Swig was a big hit. I got multiple comments throughout the night about how nice it was to have Sara there (both for her services and her personality), and multiple people asked me for Swig’s information for future parties. The drinks flowed easily, and when Sara left everything had been neatly organized, cleaned and put away. She even went above-​and-​beyond and asked if she could do a little food-​replenishment during the party, which was awesome.
Long story short: I was very impressed. I would absolutely hire Swig for another party, and you should, too!

I am thoroughly impressed with Swig. I’ve had friends use Swig in the past and I’ve heard nothing but great feedback. Arriving on time, doing a great job at getting party guests what they want and keeping the drinks flowing. Swig kept the bar area clean during the party and when the party was over… the area was cleaned up and neatly organized (and trash was taken out).
Swig offers exactly what you are looking for without hassle and for a reasonable price.
What is most important to me is that I feel that I can trust Sarah in my home and with all of my friends/​guests. This isn’t the case from other companies in the Philadelphia area.
It’s so good to know there’s someone you can trust and rely on. I’ll definitely use swig again and when anyone asks if I know of someone… Swig will be my go to recommendation. Swig is well deserving of the five star rating.

My boyfriend threw me a fantastic birthday party this weekend with the help of Swig. He mentioned that the entire planning process was made much easier by Sara, the owner and after meeting her Saturday night, I had no doubts. She was very professional, kept the drinks flowing and was simply great to have around. I had many people come up to me saying that she was really helping the party be a great one.
We will absolutely think of Swig for future parties and it sounds like a lot of friends will as well!

My wife and I used Swig to assist with a Holiday party this year. We were very happy with their service. Our intention was to only hire a bartender for the event (small gathering in a private home). After several conversations with the owner, we decided to also hire a server to assist with other items besides bar tending. We were glad we did.
The two person team arrived on time (in fact they were 20 minutes early!) ready to start work. The bartender and server jumped in to set up the bar and assist with last minute preparations. After a brief tour and an explanation of our expectations for the evening, they were able to provide some suggestions. Throughout the evening, the server took it upon his own initiative to assist with passing appetizers and refilling guests drinks (our expectation was to have all the food on a dining table for the guests to get if they so desired). In other words, he did not sit around when he had some down time and wait to be told what to do! The contract called for an hour of cleanup after the party was over. Due to the guests having a good time and not leaving, the bartender and server were able to clean up and continue to serve guests at the same time.
I would recommend Swig to anyone who wants to use their service in a similar situation. We will definitely be calling should we have a situation to use them again!

Sara and her staff were truly a life saver on my wedding day! We were planning long-​distance from California, and we truly could not have made it happen without Sara. We hired Sara as a day-​of coordinator and her staff as bartenders/​servers.
First of all, Sara was very inviting and professional to work with — she met with my husband and I months ahead of the event at the venue to give us advice about lay out, supplies, and the kind of details I would have never thought about, like garbage removal and buffet & bar set up. I could tell that she was very motivated and detail-​oriented, which made me feel some instant weight off my shoulders, because I knew she would do everything she could to make everything perfect, and she did! This included scheduling the events of the wedding day and keeping my husband and I on target for meeting deadlines, setting up the venue beautifully, as well as dealing with some unexpected surprises, such as buying extra supplies on the spot for a diva caterer who insisted on last-​minute supplies he never told us about. Also, her staff didn’t limit themselves to one particular task — each one did whatever needed to be done as the event progressed! And, they were really nice, too! Hire Sara! Just do it!

To those who read Swig’s lengthy reaction to my original review, I won’t waste time refuting its many inaccuracies, but will point out that their response should serve to give you a sense of the reaction you can expect to fair criticism. I have no financial or other incentive for my review other than to hopefully help others avoid a difficult provider.
