It’s an alright spot. Drinks are the same price as most corner bars in South Philly. They also have $ 5 Citywides and $ 4 Yards. Service was fine.
It was a bit dead for a Saturday night when I went, though, I must say. I like my quieter drinking times, but, this wasn’t one of them. Would return… and there wasn’t smoking inside when I was there as a head’s up.

Really. This place is as good as it gets when it’s only a two block walk from your house. It took maybe 3 weeks of Friday and Saturday visits for the bartenders to recognize me, which I recognize could be a bad thing but we’ll say it’s good. This place helped introduce my friends to pickle back shots.
It’s smokey and everyone knows everyone else’s business. Deal wit it. Because you ain’t finding cheaper drinks than here.

Norwood, PA
A good, neighborhood, corner bar. Staff here is witty, and harsh, exactly like South Philly. One of the bartenders, Larry, is extremely entertaining, and extremely easy to talk with. Drink prices are cheap, and the jukebox has a pretty good selection. There are no taps here, so all beer is bottled. They have the usual staples: Miller Lite, Corona, Amstel Light, etc. They used to carry the Rolling Rock ponies, but have stopped for some reason.
If you’re looking for someplace to grab a few pre or post game, this is a good place to try.
