Established in 1950.

Started in 1950 by my Father Stanley J Kopertowski first location was Harbison ave and Bridge St.(Stan and Bob’s Mobil.) Partnership was bought out by my Father in 1953. Moved to 5200 Gillespie st in 1956. Business was handed down to Stanley R Kopertowski in 1988 since than the bulding was upgraded to 5 bay fulley equipped modern Automotive repair facility with ASE techs.

After years of searching for a shop that I can trust I found Stanley’s. Any work ever done was done right the first time no b.s. prices are in line with other garages. Stanley and his staff Tommy /​Jules. Are all knowledgeable and helpful.

Would highly recommend. My car broke down unexpectedly and Stanley was able to get me in the same day on very short notice. By the next day my car was running great. I found Stanley to be very honest and thorough. Will definitely return here in the future.

My dad starting going here years ago, and ever since, it’s our go-​to place for all of our cars’ needs. The owner Stan is on-​site, honest, and offers very fair prices. He recently installed a new compressor in my car, chargng well below what I thought I’d have to pay, and throwing in new belts to boot. We can usually get small repairs done in a few hours, and big stuff done in just a work day. It’s worth the trek from the city to the random and somewhat unsavory Frankford area (rest-​assured, Stan and his crew will lock up your car when done and keep it parked in a safe area).
Plus, no meatheads here! Sometimes, garages will talk down to people who don’t know much about cars. Every time I go here, Stan & staff listen to my issues and calmly explain their prognosis. They also go over all of the work they’ve done to my car.
