I’ve never had a truly bad experience here, unless you count being busy and only having one person behind the counter, but the majority of the smoothies are almond milk(probably 60%) with only small amounts of fruit or other ingredients. They also use frozen fruit, so I don’t understand the $ 9.67 price tag(with tax) per drink. They’re not bad, but the price is ridiculous considering they don’t use fresh ingredients. Side note, Wheatgrass juice tastes like they juiced regular grass from my front lawn.

Oh my goodness, if loving this place is wrong; I never want to be right! Not only are their service impeccable and go above and beyond(the adorable cashier/employee there, I can’t remember her name but she’s black and always bubbly! I saw her help a woman with a baby carriage without even being asked) for their customers and that’s a huge factor in my book! The staff there are always in a good mood, answering any questions and just being very warm, rather than putting on this fictitious front that I’m tired of seeing — back to the employee, once again, whenever I run in there from the hospital, she always greets me and happy to chat, talking about her day and it’s always a fun conversation before I run back! Even when I’m having a bad day, she actually listens and I walk out, in a happier mood. Plus, she makes amazing«Better Together» smoothies. The smoothies itself is always fresh, made in front of you; and if you have any questions or want to substitute within reason, they’re happy to do so! I got my family hooked to this amazing local business and can’t wait to see where it leads them.

Used to be good… Once they opened up the new location and starting not juicing fresh the quality went way down hill. The bottles on the shelf at this location(which once juiced to order) are the ones that didn’t sell at the Rittenhouse location where they make the juices. Therefore you are always left with at least 2 – 3 day old juices. Other places would trash their juice after about this period, but sip and glo keeps it on the shelf for a full 7 days. Really bummed about this spot changing up the way they juice and the freshness of their product. Been meaning to write this review for a while. If you go, look on the bottom of the juice and you will see a date. The juice was made one week before that date.

When I have a cold, I go in for a couple days for an immunity shot and instantly I am feeling better! I am totally in love with Sip n Glo and everything they stand for. I make juices(made) and I know that to make good juices it is expensive and time consuming so I don’t think their prices are unfair at all. The smoothies are great! My kids even drink them! I have made up my own and the staff knows when I walk in exactly what I want! Try it: almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, vanilla protein and chia seeds. It’s my special concoction! Staff is always really friendly and super helpful. If you are in to this lifestyle then this is the place for you, for sure! Location is convenient too since I am in Whole Foods often!

Sooooo good! I got the lucky clover smoothie and it was beyond delicious! My BF got a flight of cleansing shots and loved it. I love the clean ambiance as well! I’m only giving it 4⁄5 and not 5⁄5 bc it is pricy ! But so damn good.

Love, love, LOVE this place and location. I’ve been going here since they opened. With the help of Tuck(whom no longer works there) really helped turn my health around. Coming here made my pregnancy manageable. Now I come back with my baby, she loves a green smoothie! I feel this location has suffered since Rittenhouse opened. The bottled juices never seem to be adequately stocked. I haven’t gotten to try any of the monthly juice specials, either they sell out too quickly or never make it to South St. I wish they would at least fresh press the specials.

I stumbled upon sip and glow one day when I was wandering around Philly. It has quickly become a Philly staple for me. I love trying the monthly smoothie specials. I recommend calling ahead since the wait can get long at peak times!

Was so sad/annoyed that this place stopped making juices(on demand). I was so excited for their rittenhouse location but they didn’t make juices on the spot so I trekked down to this one and they don’t anymore! I am All for cold pressed juices and it’s great to be able to take juices in the go but NOTHING tastes better than a freshly made juice and I think it was a really bad idea to stop doing that. At a juice bar. There are so many juice companies you can buy cold pressed bottles from, it’s the freshly made juices that keep people coming in.

Sip-N-Glo is becoming a very expensive habit for me. All of the smoothies and shakes are absolutely delicious, particularly the Blue Sky(blueberries, cashews, lavender, banana, almond milk), which is the most unexpected and unique smoothie I’ve gotten from a place like this. Another plus is that many of their juices have much less sugar than what’s found in a typical green juice, so if you need to watch your sugar intake this is the place to do it(the Green Beast only has 5g). They usually only have one person working behind the register so don’t go if you’re in a rush.

Alright I’m starting to slowly love them all over again. Have you tried the Flu Flighter? That juice can get me through anything! Also, prior to my wedding… they were so sweet as to give me an extra bottle just to make sure I got through my cold so I was healthy going down the aisle! Lastly, they are wonderful to my son. He loves them. I swear going there just makes his day. Terrible twos? Just take them to Sip N Glo. It’ll take the tantrums away.

This juicery and smoothie shop is quite nice. The service is friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. I got the Better Together smoothie, and my boyfriend got the weekly/daily special Peach Cobbler smoothie. They were both very refreshing and energizing. The only downside is the cost, which I feel is too high for smoothies and juices. Otherwise, I really like the place.

The staff is really nice and and the smoothies are great! I loved the cool vibes and smoothies. The ingredients are also fresh and delicious. It was the perfect treat after exploring Philly’s Magic Gardens and is conveniently so close! It is definitely a must go when in Philly!

Sip n glo is a cute concept with very nice/chatty people working, but the quality control is not good. I have had the same juice at different points and it tastes drastically different: sometimes it is great and sometimes it is unpalatable. Yesterday I went to grab a smoothie before a workout and ordered the Green protein smoothie. When this smoothie was handed to me, I took one sip and thought«YUCK!» It was very chunky with spinach or kale, whichever the green was. I make green smoothies almost every day at home, and I know that that means that a) old kale or spinach was used and/or b) the stems were put in from kale and it was not blended long enough. I would normally say this is user error, but this is the 2nd time I have had this smoothie from here and it tastes bad. The proportions are not good, and the fact that chia seeds are just thrown without letting them soak up any moisture doesn’t make sense. It would make sense to hydrate the chias in a little almond milk, then scoop into the smoothie as necessary. This smoothie was downright gross. This smoothie was so bad I would’ve thrown it away if it hadn’t cost me $ 8.75. Sip-n-glo, you’re cute and everything, but quality control is everything with a business like this.

What’s special about Sip-N-Glo Juicery? kind of juice bar serve fresh juices with pure ingredients, hand crafted juices, smoothies, pump up protein shakes and shots. Sip-N-Glo offers fresh juice made upon request and pre-bottled fresh juices, and shakes in addition to their cleansing packages. Now sound glamorous, right? The prices, however, were a bit on the dear side! I walked in two minutes before closing time, and I just grabbed two bottled ones-Chocolate Peanut Butter and One Love. I couldn’t choose. As a veggie hater, I thought maybe I should branch out and try something new, on the other hand, who could resist the heavenly combination of chocolate and peanut butter. Why Not Both? I paid almost $ 18!!! I must have seen it coming!!! — Chocolate Peanut Butter Pump up protein shake: $ 7.75 Mmmmm well, it was ok. Not the best tasting protein shake I ever had. — One Love Juice: $ 7.50 Since it is my first green juice ever, I can say i don’t hate it as I was worried I might. Bright, vibrant flavor. I really like it. Sip-N-Glo Juicery is very interesting cute spot, where you’ll take a sip and your skin will glow– I didn’t notice any bit of a skin-boosting glow — perhaps because it was night time hahah. Its good quality juice, but be prepared to spend a hefty price for it. Three and half Unilocal

Let me start with the good. Juice! Juice is really good, and they have some SERIOUS selection. I have heard about this spot long before I went to check it out. The location is great, right across from whole foods. I went in after a yoga class at yoga garden one afternoon. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. He gave me a little sample of something he was making. Really gingery, very good. I picked up two SMALL juices(one was a vanilla chai type and it was good!). My total was almost 18 dollars. WOAH. As noted in most reviews, this place is EXPENSIVE. I’ve had juices all over and this wins for highest price tag at the least amount. Also, for those of you that are hardcore about juicing, this isn’t cold pressed. Often that’s the reason for a higher price, in this case it’s not really justified. Still, I dig this place. Yes it’s expensive, but I really enjoyed both juices and didn’t regret buying them. I like to buy from places that just do juices because they tend to make some really good/unique mixtures. I really liked the friendly guy behind the counter, and the overall vibe. I’m quite close to this place and it won’t be part of my regular purchases, but when I want to treat myself(and give my body what it needs) I’ll be back.

This place is stellar for juices. They keep it very simple. no added sugar and just pure ingredients. We come here every so often when my fiancé has a juice craving. They always have good options to choose from. This time around I tried the Better Together smoothie while my fiancé ordered the heart beet juice. Both were really tasty. The smoothie was very simple, but it was a combination of flavors that are classic and popular. The smoothie contained strawberries, banana, greek yogurt and almond milk. The consistency was just right, and it wasnt too thick so you could actually drink it at a decent pace. The combination of strawberry and banana is always killer in my book. The Heart Beet juice was the real standout. Beet, carrot, celery, lemon & ginger all combine to make a really flavorful and healthy concoction. It is really satisfying and refreshing. This is definitely a great spot to grab a juice.

The city was in need of a good juice spot and Sip ‘n Glo filled the void. The location is genius. Sitting right across the street from the South Street Whole Foods, Sip ‘n Glow takes advantage of all the health-minded grocery shoppers in the area along with all the South Street shoppers. With this addition, South Street is improving. My favorite drink here is the Beast. It’s a perfect blend of green apple, cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, lemon and ginger. The Beast is not too sweet so it makes you feel like you’re not just drinking fruit juice. Over-sweetness can be a problem at other places that serve juice. I’m not drinking juice for the calories, but instead for the large dose of nature-made vitamins found in the vegetables. The small size juice is $ 6.75 which is a good rate considering the amount of produce contained within. Don’t forget to tip your juicers. Juicing is quite a bit of work, from preparing the vegetables to keeping the equipment clean. That’s why I outsource it.
