We provide CPR & First Aid certification through the American Heart Association as well as the Emergency Care and Safety Institute.

We provide Red Card and Yellow card training in Delaware as well as Security Officer training and the required training for the Handgun Qualification License in Maryland.

Whether you’re a brand new shooter or would like to refresh and hone your skills, Simpkins Security Group can provide one-​on-​one or small group training in pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting by an NRA certified instructor.

With our Small Business and Home Security Assessments, Simpkins Security Group will evaluate your home’s or business’ physical and operational security. Issues including lighting, camera needs, locking hardware, alarm systems, operational controls, and more, can be evaluated. Founded in 2009, Simpkins Security Group, LLC is a privately owned security firm specializing in Physical Security, Training, Consulting, and Investigations with offices in Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD and Atlanta, GA.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephen S.

Business Owner

Stephen has held numerous positions in the security field including LP manager, physical security supervisor, security installation/​service technician and security inspector.

Stephen’s certifications include PA ACT 235, NJ SORA and he is a CPR/​First Aid instructor for the American Heart Association and the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. Stephen is also a certified NRA Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun instructor. He is also a Security/​Firearms instructor in the states of Delaware and Maryland.

An eight-​year veteran of the United States Army’s 82^nd Airborne Division, Stephen has earned numerous awards and decorations and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Stephen is a graduate of Valley Forge Military College with an AS in Business Administration and a graduate of DeVry University with a BS in Security Management.
