One of the busiest grocery stores around. However, the prices are cheap, they are always in stock on everything you need. The staff and very accommodating — when I needed an additional steak, the staff went to the back room to get me more.

I can’t believe this location has 3 stars. I go here often because I live near by, but it is a nightmare. Lazy people park in the fire lane when there are plenty of open spots 20 feet away, the checkout lines are insane and I can guarantee you will be stuck behind a line where there is a blinking light at the register because someone has an issue with a coupon, the people drive like jack holes through the parking lot, common sense is not common by the vast majority of people there, and the amount of people who park their cart in the middle of a two way lane down an isle exceeds 3 people per isle. I hate going here and try to use the Cherry Hill location more!

I can’t believe that I just drove out of my way to come here and pick up some soup from my 3 year daughter that isn’t feeling well and when I got to the soup isle and went to grab a can of soup the price was 1.99. I just went around to my Conner store yesterday and it only cost me 1.69 ok done my rant. I hate this store.

The deli is ridiculous. 5 people behind the counter talking but only 1 waiting on the line of 10 customers! It’s always like this. The person who waited on me was nice.

Ehhh… Cheap produce is basically what I can say. Convenient for the prepackaged goods like cereal and they stay open late which is awesome. The meat and vegetables go bad quick, so I wouldn’t get it again.

Everytime I come here, it’s overwhelming. Yet it doesn’t bother me the slightest bit. Maybe it’s because I’m the mom in the check out lane with the WIC checks & impatient kids. Ok, I’m lying a little. My kids are actually very well behaved while we wait in line.(For the most part. Wait. Did I just jinx myself?) Anyway, we all know what we’re facing ahead going to any Shoprite. Am I right? Or am I right? I prefer this shoprite & Shoprite on Levick. The produce & bakery selections on Aramingo I find are way better! It could just be me. The meats I prefer from Levick. You find the club size deals for meats & that’s always convenient. A little more work cleaning & putting away but hey, no prob! Have I mentioned the seafood selection here? AWESOME-SAUCE!(That was most likely the mom in me. Momictionary. Did that annoy you a little? I strive for that. Jk) Have any of you got to know the regular workers there?(Ok, I do have a life outside of here. Really, I do.) But, back to the seafood. You’ve gotta meet Josie! She’s great! Always so sweet! So helpful & informative! She’s always behind the seafood counter. Get to know her. Again, she’s great! Such a nice lady! A lot of the regular workers are very nice! Even the younger ones. Then again, you have to give what you want to receive in life. I recommend it here. Busy crowd to maneuver around but they almost always have everything you will want. 3 stars bc nothing is necessarily perfect. You’ve encountered the deli section right? The little computer to order deli never works out some way some how. End of that story.

Very convienant location for me. It’s right across the street. But I do hate coming here sometimes. Check out lines are crazy, especially when you end up getting behind someone that brings things to the counter just to return it because it doesn’t fit into the budget. I know this isn’t shoprites fault, so this doesn’t play a factor into the rating. But come on… can’t you do the math before you get in line? When you have to put away more than half the items in your cart, there’s a problem! The reason for such a low rating is because during the check-out lines, if the employee needs a manager scan, it can take a loooooooonggggg time for them to come. I have seen some supervisors/managers just lolli-gagging while lights are going off all over the place. Also, they seem to always be out of sale items. Another irk now is that they are moving everything around. I used to be able to go in, go to the aisle I need, grab the item, and be in line. Now, I go there, and the item isn’t where it normally is! The associates now say«oh it’s now in aisle #» In regards to parking, there’s a lot, so there’s plenty of parking. But be extra careful because people drive like idiots. Also, you’ll get them lazy people that park in the fire lanes in the front. ShopRite needs to put employees out there and tell them to move the vehicle. Overall: I have been to better ShopRites, especially in NJ, but this will always be my go to spot because it’s right across the street.

Typical local service… their shop from home keeps looking for customers, yet most of the time when we order from here there’s 15 employees standing around more interested in gossiping then getting our order right.

I came here food shopping one day. I think I’ve been to so many Shoprite more than any other supermarkets. I just like food shopping. This particular location was okay, nothing stands out.

This location has a great selection and good prices. Why the lackluster review you ask? The place is jam packed day and night. The parking lot is a death trap, and the winding aisles result in a massive cluster%#*$. For $ 10, please preserve your sanity and opt for the pick up service. I’ve done it a few times, and even though I feel like a lazy invalid, it is so convenient.

Prices are good, but not worth navigating through crowded narrow isles and crazy people. Amanda G. is spot on. Panic Attack is spot on.

This ShopRite has«panic attack» written all over it. Crowded parking lot. Crowded aisles. Crowded check-out. Plus most of the folks that shop here are irritating as hell. It’s always LOUD(why??), people you don’t know will strike up a conversation with you about body wash or tattoos(no thanks), and mothers will let their ADHD children crawl all over your cart and say nothing to them. I can get what I need from Thriftway or Superfresh. There’s no compelling reason to shop here.

I haven’t shopped at the store, but I used their shop-from-home service for the first time yesterday. It was AWESOME. I ordered everything I wanted online, set the time for pickup, and when I got there(using a special door, so you don’t have to walk through the grocery store), I picked up everything. My groceries were already bagged so I paid, and was on my way in 5 minutes. They were out of one item I ordered, and the personal shopper called me to let me know and ask if I was ok with a certain substitution. You’re able to use coupons, etc. just like you would if you were shopping yourself, except you save SO much time. I took a chance ordering produce and everything was fresh and nicely packed. I will definitely be using this service again!

thisreview is not so much about the store, but about they’re shop-from-home service. wow this is the most convenient service they could have ever come up with. you go online, order exactly what you want set the day and time you want to pick it up, go there pay for it and leave its all bagged up and ready to go. the service is $ 10,but every 5th order is free and once/month there is a $ 5 off shopfromhome service. also the benefits of useing the service fasr outweigh the charge and it more then pays for itself. when you shop from home, in addition to all the sale items fro that week you nalso get sales that are only available to shop from home customers. if you stock up on any of these specials to have paid ur fee in saveings. also, if they are out of a particular sale item, they automatically substitute that item with another item of equal value and give it for the sale price instead of haveing to get a rain check when you are in the store. they always call you to confirm your substitution. also, once you get to the store you can use your coupons at checkout. there is delivery available for an additional charge, but i just pick mine up… you have to try this at least once if you are not thrilled i would be shocked. there is absolutely no down cons,

I am pretty sure I will never be too much of a snob to go to shop-rite. In Fishtown grocery shopping is pretty hopeless. You can get necessities at Cornerstone or Penn Treaty Market. or you can go to ThriftWay and spend way too much money on simple stuff. Shop-Rite is the closest and most inexpensive option. They have everything. and it’s way cheaper than any other grocery store in Philadelphia. They even have a pretty decent variety of Vegetarian products, if that is what you need. I do advise. do not go to this store during peak hours. It’s a madhouse… Kids running around screaming. ladies hitting you with their carts. If you go after 9:30(they’re open until 11 and 12 depending on the night) you are in for a great shopping experience. Of course we would all prefer to go to Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. but this is the best alternative if you don’t want to go into center city.

Usually supermarkets that have olive bars are pretty classy. This one however, not so much. Maybe its the people that shop there, or the 10,000 screaming children, perhaps the hairy guys in tank tops who don’t’ shower or wear deodorant that have tainted my view of this store so much. It is always way to crowded, it’s like everyone has the same idea at once 7 days a week to buy rotisserie chickens and bad soup for dinner. The setup of the store does not make a lot of sense, you go up and down isles 56 times looking for a can of string beans that are for some reason next to the bread(naturally). If you hate long lines, and crowded isles don’t go here. Also if your looking for a lot of organic foods their selection is rather non existent except for a few things in produce. I would much rather go out of my way to go to whole foods or trader Joe’s any day.
