My car had been broken into and I needed to get the rear window replaced. I debated between having someone come out versus driving to the location but wanted a set appointment. I am so glad I came into the shop — the staff were so helpful and friendly and the manager was amazing! Truly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had — from the staff to the way they cleaned out my car to the replacement of my window — thank you!

Only because 0 stars is not an option.
Had me wait four hours because they won’t work in drizzle than refused to come at all. Saflite offers poor customer service and they don’t seem to care. Waste of time.

Came here earlier to repair a chip in my windshield, luckily Nationwide covered the total cost. The guys were polite, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and had me out of the shop in under 30 mins. Highly recommended, thanks again.

I would not recommend this place at all. After a window of my car was broken during a break in, I called around to see who could fix my window the same day.
This Safelite said they cold fix my window that day in 30 – 60 minutes. When I got there a very rude and surly guy told me it would take no less than two hours.
After waiting for over 2 hours, I finally get a call telling me that they have the wrong window and can’t fix my car until the next day at 10am. I tell them that I have a very tight schedule, which is why I was there in the first place (and willing to pay almost double any other place). A guy who was very nice (different than the jerk) told me to come in a little early and they would try to squeeze me in.
When I got there the following morning, I was greeted by the same rude employee who told me it would once again take no less than two hours. After a rather unpleasant conversation, where he pretty much told me that he didn’t care if I used them or not, I decided to leave, wait another day in the freezing cold, and disrupt my schedule even more so I wouldn’t have to give this place my business.
On top of the one guy (who said he was the manager) who was incredibly rude, this place is also way over priced.

Had to reschedule my «Come to me» service because it was raining (can’t do repairs in the rain!). My original at home window was 12 – 5, and I was able to reschedule on their website to come into this location the same day at 12:30! I got there a little early, and they were able to take me right in. The staff is super nice. They actually told me that State Farm does give a discount even though the stupid State Farm lady was rude the day before and said PA State Farm doesn’t honor windshield repairs at all without the deductible (our deductible is higher than the cost of windshield). Highly recommend this place, and will most likely come here instead of doing the «mobile repair»! Also, the website for scheduling is really easy to use. Well done, guys!

Your tech contacted me when he was on his way and when he arrived at my office building. I showed him where my car was and left him with my keys. I wasn’t back at my desk for more than 10 minutes when my phone rang telling me he was all done installing my new window!

I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism of the staff.
I was super stressed about, what appeared to be, a crack in my windshield. I went online and received a quote of $ 120 for the windshield to be repaired or $ 1181 to replace the windshield (hence my stress) I scheduled my appointment online (a super easy process) and took the vehicle in. the technician came outside to survey the damage and informed me, it’s just a slight scratch to the glass no repair is needed. I was prepared to pay a fee for the time they took to evaluate the vehicle, I was told there is no fee, have a great day ma’am.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service from Safelite!
From scheduling via my insurance to the end result, every step was super easy and everyone I encountered was super friendly!
Hands down will always recommend safelite to replace a windshield or window.
The fact that they come to you to do the repair or replacement is unbeatable!
Having to get work done on your vehicle can be time consuming and stressful, but with safelite it was neither!

Safelite 800 phone number was super helpful at helping take care of all the insurance details I was REALLY, REALLY impressed with that part of the process.
I had a 12:30pm appointment at Washington Ave, it went downhill from there…
I arrived at 12:28pm, the guy tells me yeah it will be about 30 – 40 mins so I decide to wait.
He points me in the direction for a great coffee shop…
So I stay at the coffee shop for an hour thinking I’d be able to jump in my car by the time I get back…
I get back & four guys are standing around eating, talking & they had not yet touched my car…
Are you kidding me, I sit in the filthy office for another half hour & ohhhh they finally decide to move my car out of the pa

I had a problem spanning over 2 days with my insurance company and both the managers at the office as well as the two windshield repair techs I dealt with were unbelievably professional and very interested in helping me solve my issues.
Everyone involved went above the call of duty and I appreciated it! Great team of people, highly recommended!

I brought my 2007 FJ Cruiser to them to replace my windshield as the crack was too large to repair. I had to bring it to the location because they said that FJ Cruisers were too complicated to do the work on site.
Apparently the work was too complicated to do at their location, too.
Some time after starting the work a technician comes to me and asks if he can, literally, destroy the plastic piece at the base of the antenna because he can’t remove it. I Find it hard to believe so he shows me… and also shows me that he’s already damaged the piece beyond the point where it should remain on the vehicle. I tell him to go ahead since the piece is already mangled.
I thought that was the end of the problems. Yesterday, a piece of body work flew off of my vehicle and was destroyed on I95. I suspected that it was due to the unskilled work by the Safelite technician as when I examined the spot where the cowling used to be, the retainer clips had all been broken. When I did a quick Google search, the top results are forum posts of people who have lost exactly the same piece after having their windshield replaced. I’m surprised that the piece even lasted until I got the vehicle home.
So, the technician breaks the antenna piece and THEN asks me if it’s ok. He then breaks the retainer clips, doesn’t mention it, and wedges the piece back on so I won’t notice.
I won’t be returning to this location.

I just had my front windshield replaced by Safelite (through Liberty Mutual) for my new 2015 BMW 4 Series. You could imagine I would be skeptical about where I would go. After some deliberation I took it down the block to Safelite on Washington Ave. My experience was awesome. I requested BMW glass and after some time for approval from the insurance company, the Safelite Team had it ordered and ready for install. They called and I brought my car over (I’d recommend bringing the car to the shop, but I haven’t gone though their mobile service so I can’t comment on it). After less than 2hrs, they had a brand-​new glass installed, with excellent work. The interior was clean, the glass was flawless, and all the functionality (rain sensor/​HUD) were working as before. After my $ 50 deductable, I was out and taken care of.
As much as you read online about Safelite horrors, please check out this location in South Philly. Marcel (manager) and team were professional, fast, and provided customer-​centric service. A+!!

Safelight saved me! I had my back passenger side glass smashed when someone broke into my car. I was able to book an appointment through my Geico App. I had a 4:30 appointment on a Friday. I was able to come in 15 minutes early (I was leaving town for the weekend) and they finished it just before 5pm.

The manager, Marcel Santiago and staff at Safelite Repair at 709 Washington Ave were EXCELLENT! Fixed in a short time, They told me what needed to be fixed and how.
They asked offered to look into any discounts I was available to take AND found them for me! Although I live in Jersey, I’d gladly come over the Ben Franklin to them. I was impressed with the technicians work with how fast they fixed my windshield. High quality job, quickly done with great customer service!
I’m very pleased and I highly recommend them!

I cannot gush enough about Safelite! To start from the beginning I love that they offer hours you don’s usually see offered, starting at 7:00 a.m. I live close so I got there at 7 and walked home to get ready for work. They called to tell me my service was finished and I walked back, all in all I believe it took around an hour and a half. However they told me they were training someone, and that was why my windshield took a bit longer. They were so sweet, and apologetic about it, even giving me a discount for the wait. This was shocking to me, I have waited a car places, doctors offices you name it far beyond normal and usually not so much as an apology is given.
Marcell the store manager and Will the technician who checked me in were beyond wonderful. They were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I still get a little nervous with car things, as I don’t understand too much still but they made me feel very comfortable and went over everything. Marcell even told me to get my tires checked out (something they don’t do so I didn’t feel like he was up selling me) with genuine concern. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, not just because of the good work, but for the fantastic employees.

Probably the best customer service I have ever received! I’ve been here twice now and Marcell, the store manager, was pleasant and extremely accommodating. The entire staff was friendly and the service was prompt. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Stopped by here yesterdya and was SO pleasantly surprised. Marcel Santiago, manager, knows exactly how to provide great customer service. They checked out my windshield, found applicable discounts (AAA), and really fixed my car up.
After being told by a nearby autoglass place minutes earlier that my windshield was «unrepairable», the guys at SafeLite managed to repair and make my previous windshield damage next to INVISIBLE. I was beyond impressed. They did an amazing job and all in a matter of a half hour tops. They even told me that if they attempted to repair it, and I ended up needing a new windshield completely, they would have applied the cost of the repair toward the windshield so that I didn’t get screwed. Who else does that these days?! Don’t go to anyone else… not even the guys down the street. You can’t find better than this.

If I could give Safelite 15 stars, I would. I can’t even describe how fantastic our experience was. The store manager, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Although we had been to another glass shop and talked to our insurance company, no one (until Sam) had told us that Florida-​registered cars with comprehensive coverage have glass replacement at NO CHARGE. Sam saved us hundreds of dollars! He was already a hero in my mind
We scheduled for Monday morning, but then called the 800 number on Sunday to reschedule to Tuesday. Sam called on Monday to make sure everything was OK because he saw our appointment was rescheduled. The mobile service guy just came (my slot was 8 – 12 and he arrived at 8:45am). My windshield was entirely replaced by 9:25am! The service was fantastic, everyone was professional. Can’t sing enough praise of this Safelite shop! Only complaint is that the 800 number personnel are a mess (very nice, but every time we called they had incorrect info). It all worked out in the end though!

Overall a solid service when I needed it.
Windshield cracked in extreme heat one day which obviously sucks, but from the online scheduling to the service the next day these guys did a great job. In and out in less than 1.5 hours on a day when it was 95 degrees out. Sucks I had to pay close to $ 400 but not sure if I had a choice. Convenience is key here.
