Jen was absolutely fantastic to work with! I had her make a custom setting for a diamond I brought her, and she helped me extensively throughout the entire process, in picking the right materials, the right colors for the accents, and everything! Needless to say, she produced an immaculate engagement ring that my fiancé could not say «no» to! I would highly recommend Jen to anyone in need of an awesome custom jeweler who is extremely talented and helpful throughout the process. You can tell Jen cares a great deal about her work and her customers. In fact, I’ll likely have her make our wedding bands!

Jen made an engagement ring for my fiancée. She was very easy to deal with and promptly returned questions I had via email. The quality was superb and it was competitively priced. She was also able to turn it around very quickly. I highly recommend her services as a great alternative to the big faceless jewelry stores.

If you love custom, hand made stuff… you’re gonna love Jen Green. Rings, bracelets, bicycle head badges, a piece for a mandolin… Jen does it. Her place can be hard to find, but she’s oh so worth it. If you’re looking for a piece of bling for a bicycle, bicycle inspired jewelry or (though I don’t know why you would) regular hand made jewelry, this is where to go. You know those beautiful badges on the two NAHBS winning Black Sheep frames? Her’s. Odds are that if you can think of it, she can do it… and her prices are reasonable. Do you want hand crafted earrings with a design of your beau’s initials? Jenn can do it! You want a bicycle head badge based on a design by MC Escher? She’s got it! She’s also just a really cool, fun person.
I first heard the name Jen Green at Marchi Jewelers. I had asked Marchi if he could help engrave a bicycle part and he referred me to her as someone who specialized in bicycle beautification and unique jewelry. I promptly forgot all about it as another project caught my attention. Later I was given her website by a friend and fellow bike dork who thought I’d appreciate her head badge work… he was right, I did. At that point I didn’t make the connection… until I started calling her and realized it was a Philadelphia number. Two and two connected and I had to stop by. We ended up not being able to complete the first project, BUT I did get a really cool Flying Spaghetti Monster badge from her and some BEAUTIFUL earrings shaped like chain rings for my wife.
More recently, like so many others, my Cinelli Grammo stem was missing the plastic cap and none of my efforts to acquire one bore fruit. What was I to do? Give up and have a stem with a gaping hole that stood out against the backdrop of my De Rosa Titanio’s perfection? Pshaw! I did what anyone who wants a unique piece of bike jewelry should do… I stopped by to see Jen Green! Upon seeing the challenge I presented her, she furrowed her eyebrows for mere moments and proposed a game plan within seconds. One week later? VOILA! A brass plate stem plug with nickel design and De Rosa panto on top. Her work is incredible.
Next project? She’s making me an Alfred E. Neuman head badge and I can’t wait.
This is one of those small, out of the way places that makes this city so special.
