Uhhh I think this is where I was? Apparently this place keeps changing management. Anyways, I ordered phở and it was just OK. I’ve had phở in many different places, all over the country. The broth of the phở wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped.

Obviously things changed in under 3 months. I had a certificate and went today. And couldn’t find it. I ended up going to Phở Ha which is at basically the same address. It was different but good. When I returned home I called phone # for Phở #1 and the recording said: «The customer at this phone number is no longer accepting calls». Guess they are out of business.

Just like the name says — #1 ! The inside looked pretty good for a phở restaurant but that’s because it’s not just a vietnamese restaurant but also a sports bar. The staff is friendly — though one of them barely spoke or understood english — lol! The first time my cousin, boyfriend & I went there we all ordered the noodle soup. My boyfriend LOVED it — he says it’s better than any phở place in Ontario because it was filled with flavour(without adding any hot sauce or hoisin sauce). I personally really liked it too but I still prefer my parent’s home cooked phở more ^.^. The second time back we ordered the short ribs with broken rice dish — amazingly good. Rarely do viet restaurants have broken rice nor short rib dishes. This is one of their best dishes(I’d say). and that is why we returned a 3rd&4th time before we left to go back to Canada.(That’s how good it was! We ate it 4 times that week!) The vermicelli with beef & spring roll dish was also very good but the portion a little too big for my liking(who doesn’t like big portions though right? So I can’t say it’s bad). All in all, we would totally return back for more when we visit the states again. Ever since we had the food here the phở back in Canada just didn’t satisfy our craving for phở!
