Receive a coupon from Grubhub, so my family decided to give this place a try. Coming from West philly and used to MD crab house (63rd market) and Bottom of the Sea, we found Philly’s Seafood just ok. But since we now lives in NE, I will give them good rating. We order cornbread, potato wedges, Japanese crabsticks, and 2 combos. My hubby loved his combination fried seafood platter. While I also love the 2 snow crab combo with Mac n cheese and rice with butter. The Japanese crabsticks taste like the average crabsticks we order from Chinese takeout but smaller in size. When I think of potato wedges, i think of the KFC wedges. Unfortunately from PS, wedges mean chunks of potatoes (will post the picture on Unilocal). Other than those 2 I point out, everything else are delicious but less in amount in comparison to those located in West Philly.

I give it four stars I’m new to the area but I don’t like leaving my house sometimes so being lazy I ordered from her for me n my friend. Never saw it but it delivered which most seafood places don’t do so a plus already. The buffalo chicken wings were ok. The clam chowder more soup then clam but my platter was good. Shrimp platter with Mac n greens. Yup I especially love the Mac n cheese.

I’m not big on seafood, I’ll be the first to admit that. However, my roommate came home one day and ordered from here. The food came pretty quick, but the smell, the smell filled the house. I knew i had to order, right then and there. That was a few month ago. Now, I order quite regularly. Its good food at a reasonable price and delivered by the sweetest lady ever!
Like I said, I’m not even that big on seafood, I guess I am now… ;-)

It wasn’t terrible, but I’m not a fan. I ordered lunch for delivery through grub hub. My food came right on schedule and everything was correct and a little well-​done, but, maybe my flavor expectations are too high, coming from a family with southern roots. I couldn’t make up my mind, so I ordered three wings, a flounder sandwich, an order of butterfly shrimp, and a side of potato salad. I tasted a piece of each, and with the exception of the potato salad, nothing had any flavor. Just those hard/​crunchy panko bread crumbs.

This place what can I say bad about it! After a long day of moving into our new place, we decided to look for some seafood that would deliver in the Northeast… Grubhub pointed is to Philly Seafood, surprisingly they delivered from Torresdale to Ashton rd area.
We ordered fried whiting with Mac and cheese and greens, and breaded chicken wing platter (same sides) awesome!
We’ve ordered twice since then :)

The place is amazing the food was delicious order from here you will not be dissapointed. the customer service was good. The price was right I got a combo platter with fish and salmon. the macaroni salad was great. Thank you i will be coming here again

So … I was so tired of everything. Cooking, pizza, Chinese, a hoagie, whatever ! I didn’t want it. But then I realized that I could definitely go for some crab legs :) HOWEVER, I did not feel like lifting a finger, unless it was to make a call. And that my friends, is how I came across this little gem. I was VERY skeptical, but gave in & ordered 2 platters of 2 crab legs with vegetables (around $ 45). When I first opened the platter, I was a little disappointed. The presentation was sketchy. But that ALL CHANGED as soon as I dug in. If you are one who doesn’t mind your seafood platter NOT covered in seasonings, this is your spot. The food was very good, the crabs were slightly over cooked. Overall, I would order from them again.

I always order delivery from here! The delivery guy is polite and charming, the food is very good (we always order the family platter for the bass – it’s so much food! Enough to feed a family of four. Plus, the salad is to die for.), overall it is very good service. They meet our requests if you type in additional instructions (like getting our fries to be cheese fries) and are quick to phone in and reconfirm our order. Everything is fresh, crisp, and tasty. Not really a fan of their cocktail sauce, but their soups and salads feel homemade. Solid business.

The food was good but not the best seafood I’ve ever had. My flounder had 5 bones in it. Delivery was slow and food was barely warm. Driver lied and said he came, and knocked on the door. Never called and said he was outside. Apparently he «just decided to leave». Had to call the restaurant to have the driver «come back.»

Nice clean place… Doesn’t smell like a dead rat like the other place down the street. I highly recommend the crab cake super moist and loaded with crab meat. And it was $ 5 totally worth it for lump crab meat… So happy they are in this area

No stars! I only put a star b/​c you have to. I ordered mussels with pasta. The mussels were overcooked and tasted bad! There was no butter garlic sauce or wine, as the menu clearly states. It also had broccoli in it!!! I was super excited to order from this place, never again. What a waste of money!
