The Pennsylvania Horticutlural Society is America’s first horticultural society. PHS produces the Philadelphia International Flower Show and the acclaimed urban greening program, Philadelphia Green.

I have been a member of PHS since 2006 and attend the Flower Show (which PHS runs) every year with my daughter (she went to her first show at age 2 in a stoller and now at age 7 can walk around and loves the show).
In addition to the flower show, PHS sponsors many important programs including Philadelphia Green, Treetenders and City Harvest.
I attend lectures, check out books from the library (a great resource) and, of course, get my flower show tickets and a 10% discount all for the price of membership.
