My fiancé and I had a great experience here picking out wedding invites! Jessica was beyond helpful, patient, and really made the process enjoyable. She emailed/​spoke with us frequently, answering every question promptly. They have a great selection and will work with you to fit your budget. The quality of the invites is beautiful, we were both pleased with the final print. I highly recommend The Papery!

This place needs more gift boxes. Well, okay, I need a place that has both plain and patterned, really sturdy cardboard gift boxes in a variety of sizes. Like, jewelry to home humidifier sizes. Papery had gift boxes in 3 very similar sizes, all with the same print (in different colors? I already forgot), andddd, that’s it. Also they need more stationery that aren’t just cards or personal journals. Sometimes I need to write people more than what can fit in the margin of a store bought card, and I want it dressed up, but I don’t want to spend an afternoon hand painting a whole thing and mostly failing.
I bought some really pretty wrapping paper, but that was only because I got distracted. They really had nothing that I specifically visited in search of. Saleswoman also offered to give me those collapsable boxes that department stores put sweaters in, but it was still an awkward size and obviously not as sturdy as I needed.
The selection is commendable if you need cards or wrapping paper. But a lot of things are made of paper! Carry more of the other ones! Also I feel like the whole wall of tissue paper and gift bag is just a waste of their retail space. If you’re not going to bother wrapping a present but instead just stick in a gimmicky hologram bag with tissue paper, why would you come to this place and pay the prices here? You can head into a CVS super late and get the same things for a steal, and you can get coconut water or dog treats or pringles.
Lastly, the store doesn’t feel curated. I wanted to feel like I went into a collection of well crafted paper products that’s been thoughtfully chosen and displayed. Instead it kind of felt like a teenage hoarder’s (albeit very bright and clean) craft room. There’s even a whole area for customizing invitations, very arts-​and-​crafts/​home ed (they should just have an app for this).

I felt lucky to find this beautiful local shop. I needed to buy wedding card for friends and wanted to check out this little shop. This place actually is pretty spacious and has massive stationary collection. Don’t let their narrow entrance fool you.
I found cut wedding card for my friend :-) Yes, price was little high for card. Easily over 10 dollar per card however if you want to find special card, it’s place for you.

I had a wonderful experience designing my Save-​The-​Dates and wedding invitations here. We worked with Jessica, who was so kind and patient. She was easy to work with through both in person and through email. She never seemed frustrated despite my (many) changes and requests throughout the process. We just picked up our invitations yesterday and they are wonderful! I’m so excited to send them out. I highly recommend working with Jessica. They’re not the cheapest place, but I was proud to support a local business and I tend to agree that you get what you pay for… in this case it was worth it!
