Once Worn Consignment

I follow this store on IG and the owner is always amazing at sending items that I purchase over the phone. Always as the photo shows and fast shipping. Thanks for making it easy to shop local online!

The store re contacted me and offered 20% of my money for the mix up. On a pair of $ 250 jeans (amongst other things, some new with tags) I tried to consign I feel like it’s still a rip off. But at least they’re trying? I’d rather have my stuff. And based on what you get for the consignment I still wouldn’t recommend it.

This is my favorite consignment shop in Philly! I bring my clothes that no longer fit and I also end up purchasing items. The hand bag selection in particular is amazing! I purchased a leather bag once for $ 2. Score!!!

Decided to check this place out and within 2 seconds I found the perfect vintage jean jacket on the outside rack. Great bag selection. Lots of pieces I was looking for at other stores but couldn’t find until I came to Once Worn. Great place!!!

I was in the area for for an appointment and had a little time to kill. Short on cash but wanting a fashion pick me up, I stopped in. Immediately, I was impressed by the cool vibe, the cleanliness of the store and the layout. And it just got better. It was like a carefully curated collection. No matter your age or taste, you couldn’t walk out of there empty handed. I swear I could have brought my preteen daughter and my mom and we’d all fall in love with something. Well chosen pieces, from casual to couture reasonably priced. The owner Jen is wonderful. While she greeted me and offered assistance should I need it upon entering the store, she left me shop without any uncomfortable hovering. We chatted a bit when I went up to pay for my goodies and she couldn’t be lovelier. Only wish I lived closer so I could go back sooner!

This place is phenomenal! Jen makes you feel like you’ve known her your whole life, while remaining super professional and organized. I’ve found some amazing pieces of clothing here, and have also done a lot of consigning. It’s so fun to get that check in the mail after the 15^th and feel like you’ve not wasted all of your money on clothes– and can go buy more! :)
I highly recommend this place for both shopping and consigning.

I’m a loyal customer. I’ve been coming here for years and I usually walk out with some amazing, not expensive treasure that I get compliments on. She also has a small but fairly priced couture rack. Service is always friendly.
Be sure to also check out the basement for the sales. Much cheaper than Buffalo Exchange or Green Street and much better edited.

On my first day of vacation we stumbled into this amazing shop. I am not usually a huge thrift shopper, but this unlike most is extremely organized and clean, not to mention filled with amazing stock! I am also not someone who usually has the patience or the focus to find all of the amazing gems in thrifting… but much to my surprise I found an amazing little leather purse, a new necklace I literally wear every day, an amazing shall/​poncho sweater thing from Saks, and the cutest romper! (I didn’t get the romper) but I was so happy I dropped into this store! I would recommend stopping in, you won’t be disappointed!!!

An avid thrifter, I found this place through Unilocal and I’m so happy I decided to take a small trip to Northern Liberties to check it out! The prices here are extremely reasonable, and are sorted very helpfully. My purchase highlights were a Gap dress with the label still on for $ 9 and a pair of gently worn Aldo oxfords for $ 15. The owner (?)/​lady at the counter was super friendly and seemed to suggest that there were times of the year (including when I visited in early May) when stock kept rotating frequently, so she invited me to come back in a few days.
The week before I went to Once Worn, I went to Buffalo Exchange. The difference in price is just remarkable and I think I’ll stick to Once Worn.

Today was my first visit to Once Worn and I am completely in love! I found such amazing goodies for less than $ 20.
Very neat, clean and well organized.
I had my baby girl in tow so sadly I didn’t get to check out the sale racks downstairs but I’m planning on making another visit this weekend to peruse through all the lovely items this store has to offer!
I have never consigned here but it definitely beats trekking down to center city to get ripped off by Buffalo Exchange. looking forward to trying out this aspect of the store as well!

I might come here too often because each time I am here I see a lot of the same stuff in the racks that I saw the previous time. That being said, I am still able to find something new that I want to buy each time that I am here.
While the inventory does not rotate as much as Buffalo Exchange in center city does, I would still say that Once Worn is the best consignment shop in the city because all of the clothing they sell is clean, fairly priced, and well organized. They have a great variety of dresses, shorts, shirts, and accessories that can fit any budget. If you have not yet been here, you must visit.

I visited 2 thrift stores in Manayunk today and this one. Once Worn was the best in terms of price and selection for men’s stuff. I’m still beating myself up for not buying that $ 8 Ultimate Warrior sweater.

Hey, I don’t really have anything bad to say about this place! It’s clean, well organized, offers a great selection of styles and brands at very affordable prices. The handbag selection passed my test with a C+ rating (translation: Nice current and vintage Coach purses at very fair prices). I saw a wonderful dress outside on the sale rack (shoulda’ grabbed it!) and a nice selection downstairs, which also includes a lot of menswear. I browsed as long as I could on an empty stomach before snagging a brand new, super cute, genuine leather Banana Republic purse for $ 11; after which I promptly headed to the nearest coffee shop. I will definitely be back to spend a lot more time but I’ll make sure I’ve had my Wheaties first.

I just discovered this little gem of consignment heaven while out with a girlfriend in Northern Liberties… and I think I’m in love. After going pretty much all over the city, you think an experienced thrifter/​consigned like myself would have seen the best (and unfortunately the worst) in gently used clothing, but then I find this spot and I have to revise my thinking. May have to pay this spot another visit after pay day (trying to be responsible, people)

— very organized and neat (a MAJOR plus for consignment) everything is perfectly organized into size, from xs to xxl. Even the sale items were well organized and labeled

TIPS
— check the outside sale racks. They had a few super cute items that were also super cheap.
— DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT omit the sale racks downstairs. Your first inclination once you enter the store is to go upstairs, and that is absolutely correct, but don’t miss out on the low priced goodies downstairs either. (hello people, when you see an entire rack of your size of sale clothes, you get super stoked! Nabbed a Cynthia Rowley silk blouse WITH THE TAGS STILL ON IT on the sale rack, retails for $ 275, got it for $ 12!!!) HAPPY THRIFTING!

PS! I just need to comment on how wonderful Jen was to work with. Without getting into detail about how difficult I was, and how many times she re-​issued checks for my consigned stuff, I’ll just say that I was bowled over by the helpfulness and patience I received.

Best consignment shop in Philly area to consign or to shop! For consigning, they’re always nice and friendly — never a pretentious attitude you might experience elsewhere. The owner Jen is super trustworthy and I always feel comfortable with bringing stuff in here. For shopping, they have a wide range of clothing, accessories, bags and vintage houseware. The price is always reasonable and their selection is superb. I high recommend this place.

I have sold my clothing at consignment shops in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and Once Worn is always a much better experience than any of the others were. I also love to purchase from Once worn. The selection is lovely and varied, the prices are very fair and the staff is friendly. You won’t find any pompous attitude from them.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Buffalo SCAM-​change. Go to Once Worn instead.

This place is awesome! I always find one or two pieces that are great. The new location (two doors down from the old location) offers a lot more floor space. Tons of pants, shoes, cute jewelry, tops, dresses, and more. There are also $ 1 bins and sale clothes downstairs near the shoe racks. They take LevelUp, I used mine and saved $ 2 on my first purchase. Definitely will be back!

Love this store! I went during the Shopping Spree event on a Saturday afternoon. The pretty small space is filled with clothes, and bags, and shoes. I scored a vintage brown leather jacket for $ 30 with the shopping spree discount. There were a lot of great options and I would definitely go back to scope out everything. It seems like Jen has a decent turnover too, so you won’t keep finding the same things.

I took some stuff down there today. The process is so easy and Jen will take most things. She let me know what is selling and what is not and I opted to donated my stuff after 60 days (or you can pick it up). She has a good selection of reasonably priced items and also a designer selection.
There is the cutest pair of vintage shoes (says size 7.5) but thats like todays size 5 so if you have really small feet you should go there and get these hot wedges!
She has dressing rooms in the back and even carries mens wear. Also a sale rack out front. I’ll definitely be back to shop for some things, but today I was just dropping stuff off. I love this store!
