Established in 2015.

From three generations of barbering, Nic Grooming Barber shop was born. The Berardi men, after taking notice of a lack of men’s specialty shops in the area, used their expertise in haircutting and barbering to create something as yet unknown to Philadelphia. As a satellite barber shop of Richard Nicholas Hair Studio, Nic Grooming is the ultimate blend of old-​school craftsmanship and modern technology. Business Owner

Nic was born into a family of hair. His mother was a stylist and his father was a barber. He has been cutting hair for over 20 years now, and noticed something lacking in the barber shop community in Philadelphia. He decided to open Nic grooming with the old school barber shop knowledge from his father, and his own knowledge of todays modern technology. When you walk into Nic Grooming barber shop, you can feel his love for men’s cuts and motorcycles. You can feel right off the bat that Nic grooming is the place to get a great men’s cut. The idea behind Nic Grooming is to create a barbershop social club in center city Philadelphia. So stop in and have a beer while you wait to get a great haircut.

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in YEARS!!! Great job from David! Also they have great music playing so the waiting, if any, goes by very fast. Also, the place is not that small or big that too many people will wait and even if it is «full» the wait is not ao long. Stop searching were to go and just walk/​get there.

Wow what a great place! Gianna was my stylist and she transformed me from a werewolf into a human being! She convinced me to use some «hair product» which no self respecting werewolf would ever use. With apologies to the remaining werewolf colony out there, flee your dens and go to Nic’s! It is a walk in barbershop and when I was there it had three stylists. Gianna spent a lot of time on my «were hair». She provided me me with some style tips which no other barber or stylist ever did. To boot, she offered me water, soda, or a beer! I am now a true convert! Look it costs $ 40 for a shampoo and a cut but I have to tell you it is worth it! Gianna layered my hair, razor cut my neck, shampooed and stylized my hair, and turned a werewolf into a into a civilized, if slightly uncouth, human.

Stopped in here on a nice Wednesday looking to get a haircut. I had my seven-​month-​year-​old baby with me. I was hoping she would sleep through the haircut but she did not. Fortunately the staff here was so nice and understanding that they didn’t kick me in my crying baby out. I got an excellent haircut even though this is not my usual hairstylist. I think my stylist name was Gianna. She was warm friendly and very agreeable when it came to asking me for input on how I wanted my hair. Awesome place, would definitely visit again !
