Mr. Cleans Carpet & Uphostery Cleaning

They don’t even deserve one star. Set up appointment two weeks ago and took a day off work to have carpets cleaned. They called/​texted at 11 am today to confirm appt between 1 – 2. Didn’t show up. Started calling at 245 to find out where they were. No answer. Left message. No callback. Called every 30 to 45 minutes. No answer or call back.
Called living social to register dissatisfaction and to see what can be done. Got a full refund after LS couldn’t reach them either.
Save your money … Don’t use this company!

They never showed up, had me waiting for hours on a MONDAY morning. No respect fOr my time. Proceeded to make up some excuse and reason why they didn’t show or call me at the door., then never called back to reschedule i even called. no answer again.. Hoping to get my money back from Groupon

After calling them to confirm that they could send equipment to clean the rugs in my apartment we set up an appointment. The first time they claimed that they did not read their notes and did not have the right equipment. We set up a second appointment which they just did not show up for. When I called them they said they would check with the techs and find out where they were. I never heard back and when I tried to call to find out what was happening they didn’t answer the phone.
Don’t get tricked by them. Reading the reviews I am not the first customer they have treated like this.

I was so excited to find this company offering a deal on the Amazon Local discount site. I just moved back to Philadelphia and wanted to use small business to work in my home. When I phoned for an appointment before purchasing the voucher, the employee/​owner convinced me to make use of their «New Customer» discount so that I could pay them directly instead of the discount site. I agreed and am SO HAPPY I did. After confirming my appointment the morning of the cleaning, THE COMPANY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I waited in my house MANY HOURS and cancelled SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS to get my carpets cleaned. Even though someone called to say they were running a bit behind and would give me a call back with an ETA in 30 minutes, NOBODY CALLED BACK. Knowing the challenges small businesses face and desiring to support small local business, I was truly trying to be understanding. I called back and left a message inquiring about the ETA almost 2-​hours later, and as of today, 5-​days later, my call was NEVER RETURNED!!! THEY TRULY DISAPPOINTED A FABULOUS CUSTOMER!!! THANK YOU FOR CONVINCING ME NOT TO PURCHASE THE DISCOUNT VOUCHER ON AMAZON LOCAL. My dollars will go to a RESPECTABLE COMPANY.

Absolutely the worst most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! They used a scrubber on my carpet to clean it, not a machine for the deep clean we needed also, the carpet is still wet after 3 days and has an odor so now the house smells mildewed. Also the smell of weed smoke shouldn’t be a requirement for the employees! We have to now rip the carpet out as it can’t be salvaged!

NOTE: I cannot judge these cleaners based on the merit of their cleaning because they no-​showed at my appointment, so this review does not speak to their abilities. However, if customer service is a priority as well as not having a no-​show carpet cleaner the day of your appointment – search elsewhere.
1. When I asked for a certificate of insurance (as the merchant calls it his «insurance numbers») I was informed that they do not provide this sort of information «over the phone» nor to «customers». When they insisted I call Living Social ® to get the certificate, I did, and LS was shocked that a merchant would not share their certificate (proof) of insurance because they said that was private. LS said they would do me a favor, kindly, and reach out to the merchant to pursue a certificate of insurance and to list my rental apartment’s complex on the certificate for their job site location. The merchant did not return LS’s calls…
2. The night before my appointment, the merchant calls me and says «did you get YOUR insurance issue figured out?» I was surprised that they had not returned the calls to LS and did not even offer to bring a certificate to the job site if they were concerned about sharing «insurance numbers over the phone.» He offered to call his boss and ask what he should do (840pm), informing me that he would call me back in 5 minutes. I told him, take your time, I will be up till 11 pm. He never returned the call.
3. At the time of my appointment, the merchant calls me and says that they are cancelling my appointment. Their excuse was that «their equipment could not reach the 36^th story» even though they are registered as having mobile (not truck mounted) equipment. This was even more concerning because I had told them what floor my apartment was on the day we set up the appointment. By the way, he also told me that his boss thought it was not her job to provide me with proof of insurance.
4. When I informed the merchant that I understood his concern and that I would have to ask for a refund if they would not service my apartment, the merchant (Jim?) began yelling at me for 5 min 12 sec.
5. I will report to the Better Business Bureau so that the merchant has a fair chance to respond to these issues. I’m sure they will offer no response.

Very good service. Jay did wonders to my living room, study, and staircase carpets. All were in need of deep thorough cleaning after 8 years of use. I was on the verge to replace my carpet and was dreading the high cost, Mr. Clean lets me keep the carpet I have. I love that all of the dirt, stains, and pet smells (I have a little dog) are no longer there. Okay, they don’t look brand new after the treatment but I didn’t expect them too. I will use this service again and do recommend it. The only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is due to the scheduling issue I had when I first scheduled the appointment. The person didn’t show and I had to call back. Jay did came on time (actually a few minutes before, which is great) the following day and did a great job reviving my carpets. I like the work so much that I scheduled a 2^nd visit on the spot. Good service with potentials to be even greater!

Had a very very good experience this morning with Jay! Was on time (7am), carpet came out great!!! He was very professional and after he left I went to check out the rest of the carpet, he had even taken out some trash that was still in the empty apartment. I’ve already recommended this company to family and friends. You guys did a wonderful job and have definitely gained a new and happy customer!!! What are you waiting for? CALL NOW!

I just called to make an appointment for this weekend. The guy who answered seemed like a decent guy. He asked a lot of questions in regards to what I needed done. So far the pricing estimate seems like the best deal. I will see if it stays that way when they get here Saturday. I ‘m hoping they can remove this coffee stained rug. Will update after they come. I almost forgot, they offered me a free dryer vent cleaning when they come.
