MMPartners, LLC (MMP) is a vertically integrated real estate development, construction and management company, formed to revitalize and effectuate positive change within Philadelphia’s historic Brewerytown neighborhood.

Since 2001, MMP has been building in Brewerytown, with an emphasis on good design, sustainability, and giving back to the community. MMP specializes in everything from the renovation of single family homes to the new construction of large, mixed-​use developments. While the projects are varied, MMP’s philosophy stays the same for all projects: high quality, modern design, and value for our renters and buyers.

Business Owner

The principals of MMPartners have been building in the historic Brewerytown neighborhood since 2001. In 2007, seizing the right moment to create a comprehensive and holistic approach to redeveloping Brewerytown, David Waxman, Jacob Roller, and Aaron Smith officially formed MMPartners. With the goal of restoring West Girard Avenue as a thriving retail corridor, which will drive continued residential development throughout the neighborhood.

Truly horrible experience with MMPartners.
Dishonest about prior (and current) rodent infestation when shown the apartment? — Check
Told improvements would be made to the apartment prior to move in but never done? — Check
Actually sold the building within a few weeks of me signing the lease but never mentioned that they were planning on doing so at any point prior? — Check
Apt came with backyard in awful condition
– Told it would be cleaned before move in but never done? — Check
– Met at my front door by their agent with a MACHETE (really guys? a machete?) on my move in day and told to clean the backyard myself? — Check
Borderline incompetent and completely unknowledgeable agent who showed us the apartment and was our main contact person on move-​in (knowing average cost of electricity/​gas is a fair question, so is knowing if there were mice in the building –hint there were, the tenants on the second floor informed you personally several months earlier) — Check

This was by far the best rental experience I’ve ever had. Our apartment on North Girard Street was beautiful and the price was shockingly low. My roommate and I stayed for 2 years and probably would have never left if our finances were a bit more stable.
Jacob from MMPartners was a pleasure to deal with and was always honest and very easy to get in touch with. We very rarely had problems with the apartment (the ones we had were very minor), but when little things came up, they were resolved very quickly. In fact, I think the only problems we ever had were an electrical problem in the bathroom (one outlet wasn’t working, was fixed in about a day), and the fridge seemed to not be working (turned out it just needed to be defrosted and was also taken care of in about a day).
If I’m ever able to move back into the city, my first call will most definitely be to MMPartners to see what properties they have available. If you are a good tenant and keep the place in good shape and always pay your rent on time or early, you will get your full deposit back like we did!
This was a very positive experience and I wouldn’t recommend renting from anyone else. If you have questions, feel free to email me.
