Luz Mancebo — Master Colorist and Stylist

Luz Mancebo was born in the Dominican Republic within a family where hair care was part of an essential beauty routine. She abandoned the passion of her childhood for the fashion industry for fifteen years. Among fashion designs and fabrics she began to flirt again with her first passion; hairstyling. From 1998 — 2001 Luz won a series of contest gaining popularity in Puerto Rico as first and second place on the prestigious competition total bridal look and up dos. She has solidified her title as a master colorist and hairstylist through an interesting journey.

The doors of opportunity continued to open and this time moved her out from Puerto Rico to Philadelphia. Luz left her small salon for the promise of bigger dreams. In this city the language barrier and adapting to a new culture could not stop her talent and charisma, for eight years she has earned the affection and respect of selective clients Downtown Philadelphia.
