love it here!!! Every time I am in Center City I stop by. Everything is so fresh: rolls, toppings and the meat! If you are in a hurry I suggest you call ahead.

i got a corned beef sandwich there before, and it was fairly good. today, i was really excited for a hoagie, so i ordered a chicken salad hoagie. it was not good. indeed, it was like they spread chicken-flavored mayo on a roll and forgot to put the meat on there. they also forgot my onions, but it’s fine– not trying to network with onion breath later. i must say, i do like the people taking the orders though.

Honestly the best sandwich I have had in this city plus the ppl that work there are nice and proficient so I liked that. Will eat here anytime I have to enter the gallery which is very rare for me but would make a stop just to get a sandwich!

There isn’t much good to say about the Gallery Mall anymore… except Michelfelder’s Philadelphia is big on its sandwiches and this place does them massive justice. I’m vegetarian and whenever I’m in town will have a Swiss cheese hoagie from here. Yum-tastic! They also do salads. You get quick, pleasant service and everything you get here is fresh, fresh, fresh! Breads, ingredients, condiments — it’s all good & inexpensive!

This is one of the few places I will get food at in the Gallery. Since I work in the Market East part of the city I have to scour around to find fresh food that isn’t deep fried. This is a great spot for affordable sandwiches and salads when I don’t feel like venturing outside during the cold weather. If you are going to go with a sandwich they use Boars Head meats and cheeses. Their salads are fresh and plentifull. Like Colleen said, you can tell that it’s a popular lunch spot by the long line. But don’t pass it up, the service is super fast! Note: CASHONLY!

Love this place. Love, love, love it. I know you’re thinking… «it’s a deli — whoop-dee-do!» Check the crowd at lunchtime and you’ll see I am not the only one who thinks it’s one of the better ones in town. The rolls are fresh and piled high with delicious Boar’s Head meat. Sandwiches are made to order and they have a serious system down for cranking them out. There may be a line but it *really* moves. They also offer salads made to order — Saladworks style without as much variety or cost. You get an entire garden worth topped with pasta, turkey, egg and a roll for under $ 7.00(they have other options too). This salad ends up being a pound or more every time I pick one up. Admittedly, it is more or less just a deli but the sandwiches are delicious and the salads are huge and inexpensive!

BEST Hoagies and Sandwiches in PHILLY! A MUSTTRY! They use quality Boar’s Head Meat for all their hoagies. They put plenty of meat and fixins. You could probably save the other half for dinner, it really is that BIG!

They make good sandwiches and hoagies here. There seems to be some confusion about what goes in a Jewish hoagie. Other delis make this sandwich as a Corn Beef Special on a long roll. When I order a Jewish hoagie I am asked if I want peppers or onions on it. I have to repeat myself and describe the contents. I am then told that is a special(which is what I want) as if I was describing something unusual. I hope that all makes sense.
