Mathnasium is a franchise headquartered in LA that has been making math make sense to kids for over 12 years! Mathnasium of Andorra began in 2012 and has been helping students in grades 1 – 12, and some college students, soar with their math skills!

Meet the Business Owner

Indira L.

Business Owner

Indira Lawson is an engineer turned educator who is passionate about math! She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University, a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Mathematics from UNC-​Chapel Hill, an MBA in General Management from Drexel University and Principal Certification from Cabrini College. For four years, Ms. Lawson was the Principal of an Accelerated, Alternative School, managed by OIC of America, within the School District of Philadelphia. She left her principalship in the summer of 2011 to pursue her love of math again and her desire to be an entrepreneur. She is now the owner/​director of the first Mathnasium franchise in Philadelphia.
