The beautiful tree-lined swimming pool is fantastic. The staff is friendly and informative and overall, I always enjoy swimming there.

I started playing football at Mander Playground mid-spring season when our league got kicked off of Roberto Clemente. I’m pretty sure it must have been another sport that got everyone kicked off since we had a rainout the week we were told all our games had been moved. The field size is comparable and there is actually grass, ok I’m not sure its grass it might be all weeds but the lack of dust storms was a nice change. I definitely come home slightly less dirty than I did on Roberto. But the grass or whatever it is could be trimmed a little lower. They have lights a huge plus but sometimes they aren’t turned on at the right time, usually someone is able to get that fixed. I tend to bike since parking by my house is difficult late at night but on the occasions I have driven there never been an issue getting a spot and the park had been crowded every time I’ve been no matter what time our games is, early or late. Although as we approach into fall the crowd has seemed to thin a little, guess it’s getting to cold for some.
