This is, without any shadow of doubt, the worst bank in the country. M & T «Bank» –as a whole– seems completely unaware of the existence of customer service. It astounds me that this «bank» can exist at all. Are the employees unaware that the banking industry is actually competitive? Depositors: run, don’t walk to the closest alternative!

I just need to take a moment to tell you about how this is my favorite M&T Bank! I switched to M&T from Wells Fargo and frequent TD everyday for work but neither have that personal touch like these guys.
The hours may seem inconvenient to most but they are always open during the times that I am in center city and the lines are very rare and quick. It IS smaller than the other banks (both space and staff) so call to make an appointment if you need to really talk to someone (very easy and plenty of open slots)
They also allow friendly dogs!
