Scott McPheeters, of Kudzu Bodywork, is certified in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and is also an Advanced Myofascial Release practitioner. Because of his unique body awareness as a dancer, Scott has worked with many other professional performing artists in Philadelphia. He welcomes anyone, however, to visit Kudzu Bodywork and experience a bodywork session catered specifically to their individual needs.

Business Owner

Scott was born and raised in Maine and moved to Pennsylvania in the Fall of 2001 to attend Dickinson College. After graduating with a B.A. in Theater Arts (Dance Emphasis), he moved to Philadelphia to pursue a career in performance. Since then, he’s worked for a number of local dance and theater companies such as Nichole Canuso Dance Company, Headlong Dance Theater, Melanie Stewart Dance Theater, Subcircle, and Enchantment Theater Company. He is a permanent company member of both Kun-​Yang Lin /​Dancers and Marianela Boan’s BoanDanz Action.

In January of 2009, Scott enrolled in the Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia and graduated in November of the same year. He then went on to receive a certificate in Advanced Myofascial Release Technique from his mentor, Linda Gerber, in April of 2010. In addition to Kudzu Bodywork, Scott also works at JuJu Spa and Organics located at 728 South 4^th Street in Queens Village.
