We are a unisex hair studio specializing in barbering and haircare services. We specialize in various techniques for haircuts such as deep conditioning treatments, deep cleansing shampoos, fades, scissor cuts, Razor shaves, facials etc. We also believe in educating our clients with the correct methods to maintain their hair, in between services. We are trained to cut all hair types & textures, and we welcome all clients, rather they have an appointment or a walk-​in. All of our barbers are professionally trained, licensed and efficient. History

Established in 2007.

This is a family friendly hair studio with the owner on hand 90% of the time. Kreationz By Hand started in Oct. 2007, after a failed partnership venture. The business relies on customer service and professional integrity to set it apart from other shops also located on South Street, which is known as the beauty district. The owner & his team take pride in understanding our demographic & financial climate. By doing so they implemented discounted days, such as $ 10 Tuesdays, & our daily Student discounts for area schools, such as University of Penn, Drexel, The Art Institue, Uarts, & others. We have done many events to help strengthen our community, such as hosting several back to school events where we offered free haircuts for school age children as well as giving out free school supplies. We are apart of this community, not only as a business but as individuals, and want to represent it well.

I am the proprietor & one of the barbers at Kreationz By Hand. I have been in the hair industry since the early 2000’s. I enjoy my craft and show pride in each service that I render. As an owner I try to staff my business with individuals that share the same passion & love for this craft that I have. I am always investing back into my equipment, because, a barber is «only as effective as his equipment.» I believe that in order to remain a relevant force, especially in the ever changing hair industry, u must constantly reinvest back into the business & your equipment as well as continue learning & keeping up with all the latest trends. I want our clients, rather they come one time or become regulars, to experience that old school barbershop feel, with good atmosphere and, compelling conversation, as well as an awesome haircut or service.
