I had to have two wisdom teeth extracted last week. Needless to say, a procedure I was not looking forward to. Dr. Kornbrot made me feel at ease from beginning to end. I had a very professional, positive and virtually pain free experience! I am recovering well.

I mean, who really wants to get their teeth pulled, am I right? The team here did an excellent job at relaxing me and making sure I didn’t hyperventilate while getting my wisdom teeth out. They were in network for my insurance provider which was great and I recovered pretty quickly! Again, super friendly staff, nice atmosphere and they clearly know what they’re doing! Thanks guys!
–Edit from a months after the surgery: This doctor’s office tried to bill me an additional consolidation when one was never facilitated. When I contacted them, they were not sympathetic at their mistake and sounded incredibly inconvenienced that I contacted them asking to not collect payment. Very shady and not professional.

Who wants to see a Oral Surgeon? Not too many people, but it’s what’s you have to do when you have three impacted wisdom teeth and two broken teeth… you gotta get them fixed. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Kornbrot this morning, she was very pleasant, attentive and full of information. Not the boring information «here’s what a wisdom tooth is» kind of information, but very informative and interesting conversation about the procedure and aftercare. She listens to your concerns and I could have gone on forever with questions, but you really don’t need to… she is very thorough. I’m due for my extractions in two weeks and I can honestly say that I’m ready and comfortable with my upcoming appointment.
Great front desk staff, they are very efficient as well!

So far so good! Got my wisdom teeth removed this afternoon.
Dr. Kornbrot was wonderful during the initial meeting. She explained everything very clearly and was very competent and knowledgeable. This was very important to me since my bottom teeth were growing in in the wrong direction, an unusual and tricky business.
During the actual procedure, she was very good at reassuring me. I only got the local atheistic, so in the beginning I was nervous and felt like like I needed to swallow every 30 seconds. She also explained what she was doing as she did it and how it would feel beforehand. Unfortunately my jaw locked up during the procedure, so she couldn’t get the last tooth, but that was my body reacting and not her fault.
As for the billing issue someone wrote about, it’s obviously too soon to say what happened to me, but I’ll update if it doesn’t go well. However, given how well organized the office seems to be, I’ll be surprised if there is a problem.
Conclusion: let’s just say she has been named one of the top doctors in Philadelphia in 2010 and 2012 for a reason.

It could be my pain meds talking, but I loved it here. Don’t get me wrong, I would not spend more time in here than I have to. But for the one moment in my life that I had to get all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth out, I am glad I came here.
The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helped me to call my insurance company to check what they would cover. During my consultation, Dr. Kornbrot sat with me for a very long time to explain the entire procedure, discussed different anesthesia, and even patiently answered every single one of my questions. They called to remind me the day before my appointment and made sure I knew what to bring, when to not eat, and what to wear.
When I came in for my extraction today, I was a bit nervous. But everyone was just so sweet to me. I closed my eyes for a second while my IV sedation kicks in and the next time I opened my eyes, an hour and half had passed and everything was done! I was a bit loopy afterwards but I do remember asking a lot of questions and being satisfied with the answers. I also remembering asking to keep ice pack headgear they placed on me because «I like looking like a lion». I don’t know what they said, but I think my boyfriend put a stop to my nonsense quickly. He did say that I wouldn’t stop complimenting them the entire wheelchair ride down to his car. So, even woozy me agrees: This place is amazing.
Best part: Dr. Kornbot even called later on in the day to see how I was doing.
She and her staff are so amazing that they are able to turn something so terrifying and potentially painful (in my vivid imagination) into something so pleasant.

I made an appointment with Dr. Kornbrot to evaluate the extraction of my wisdom teeth. Dr. Kronbrot was knowledgeable and professional, my «medical» experience. was ok.
However, I am very disappointed at their management. I paid the bill with credit card on site. I’m sure about it. However, over the last four months I have been receiving notices (three or four) saying that my account is past due. Despite my repeated attempts to try figure out what the problem was, they have never returned my calls (and I have left at least four messages over the last months). Today I have received a letter saying that they are going to use a collection agency. Go figure. I have spent more than two hours trying to find my proof of payment, because they didn’t even say in their letters when their service was provided. I have finally found it but, since they are not returning my calls, I guess I’m going to have to go there during their limited business hours to show them the receipt and solve this issue.
I would stay away of this medical provider because of their completely unprofessional management, which has made me waste a lot of time. You may end up wasting a lot of time too or being double billed. Even worse, if their billing procedures work like this, I don’t want to imagine how they might be able to manage a surgical procedure.

I was really unhappy when I found out that I had to get my upper wisdom teeth removed, but I could not be more happy that Dr. Kornbrot did the dental surgery. She explained *everything* in detail and left much time for my insane questions. She was so nice, and then on the day of the surgery, the actual extraction took a total of five minutes, together!
She was awesome. I got local anaesthia and she used dissolvable stitches. Someone from her office even called the day after to make sure everything was going well. If you have to get your wisdom teeth removed, I highly suggest coming here. I know for a fact they accept Aetna Dental PPO.
