Kershaw Esposito Real Estate & Property Management

I used them for property management for about 1 year. But 6 months into the 1^st lease, my furnace unit did not run in the middle of the night and the tenants called them for service. They sent out a guy that mishandled the repair and it kind of caught on fire. Fortunately there was only a lot of smoke and no one was harm but the unit had to be replaced and the house had to be professionally cleaned and put in new carpet and repainted etc. My insurance company took care of everything. But they never got back to me since the insurance company started processing the claim. And recently after about 4 months from the incident when I emailed them about selling the house, they finally responded. But I just found out that they and the furnace guy are responsible for the fire but refusing to take responsibility and that guy doesn’t even have insurance to cover his mistake.
I am so disappointed and would never use them again.

I used this agency to rent a house and have been very disappointed by them. Before I moved in I was told some things would be fixed and they never were. They never get back to you and ignore phone calls.
I would not recommend this agency for a rental or property management.
I also found a contract in the cabinet from the last people that rented here and they had the same issues apparently. Real shame.

We were interested in a listing by Kershaw Esposito and stopped by an open house. The listing agent there was pretty harmless, and we liked the place, so we asked our agent to make some inquiries. They ended up being incredibly difficult to work with, not returning phone calls or e-​mails. Both we and our agent even tried to contact Kershaw himself, who was not accommodating (it seems like the problems with the rest of the staff may originate from his lack of communication). With the market as it is, you’d think they’d be thrilled to have an interested buyer, but instead Kershaw refused to provide us with documents that our lawyer said they were legally required to give us. The entire ordeal was off-​putting, shady, and made us worry that there was something (possibly structural) about the place that they were hiding. They also had other properties we tried to look into that weren’t even truly for sale that they had listed as available in MLS and on various websites. Needless to say we ended up buying another house (with Coldwell Banker and Prudential Fox Roach) and won’t be recommending Kershaw Esposito or looking at any of their listed properties in the future.
