Keep It Clean With Raylene

I honestly think they didn’t do a horrible job cleaning, it obviously could have been a little better however, what got me was their pricing. They told me on the phone one price and when they were finished it was another. They really weren’t there cleaning more than 65 minutes. I think the ladies that cleaned were friendly, but nothing frustrates and upsets me more than being nickeled and dime for more than what was promised. I don’t think I could recommend them for the future for that alone.

I recently moved to Philadelphia and was looking to get my first cleaning done that my home had ever had (It is new construction, so its mostly just dusty if anything as I have no children or pets and my husband and I are rarely even home).
The staff was extremely friendly and trustworthy however the reason for my low review is the cost. They charge a high hourly rate (I think it’s around $ 115/​hour) or something crazy like that, and then they will nickel and dime each minute after the first 60 minutes.
I decided to give them a try due to the great reviews but I guess my expectations were too high. Let’s just say I can clean my house just as well, and save myself $ 150, which is what I will be doing moving forward.
When the staff called to learn about our recent experience, my husband shared his feedback, and it was not well received.
Like I said, the staff is fine and nice/​trustworthy, but in my opinion this is a rip off and if your house is pretty clean to begin with and you don’t mind dusting/​swiffering a little then save your $$$.

My genuine thanks goes to Mindy, Raylene, and their wonderful ladies who got my house ship shape for showing to potential buyers after my tenant moved out. They did the «move out» clean up. The value can’t be beat and they worked me into their schedule on short notice. Very personable staff! Trustworthy housecleaners who take pride in their work. A solid local business that I highly recommend. Thank you, ladies!!!

This woman saved our asses. We were moving and ran out of time to clean our apartment before going out of town right before our landlord did the final inspection. She was able to squeeze us in and cleaned our apartment while we were away. When we walked in with our landlord for the final walk though, we saw the apartment for the first time — it was spotless. You could have performed surgery in the oven it was so clean. She successfully removed two years of dog hair from our floors and baseboards. The refrigerator and freezer were sparkling. I would use this service again in a heartbeat. Well worth the money.

Great cleaning service. Our family has used them at two locations including a 3,000+ square foot home. The girls are always punctual, thorough, and friendly. We could trust them with our key and they were always willing to pet and even play with our pets. Rates are fair and based on size of home and time taken to clean.

I used this cleaning service for several months and found the office staff to be, with out fail, rude every single time I spoke with them. I understand things can get busy and it’s easy to let it out on the next person that happens to be calling, but there comes a point that you have to realize that you’re speaking to YOUR customers. Even upon cancelling my service, they proceeded to give me attitude and did not once ask if there was anything they could do to keep my service. When hiring someone to come into my house, I prefer there to be a mutual respect and kindness. Keep It Clean does not exemplify these qualities!

We had our first «deep clean» and the did an terrific job. We are looking forward to working with them to keep our house clean throughout the year. I would highly recommend their service. It is more efficient with a team then with one person. They are great with communication as well.

Really nice customer service. Trustworthy cleaners, very thorough. They consulted with me at every step in terms of what I wanted them to focus on. Their cleaning products were effective but not at all harsh or off-​putting (I hate it when your house smells like a just-​hosed-​down transit station). The initial contact was via gift certificate– I got a hand-​delivered cert from the owner! Also, if you pay in advance by check they don’t deposit until you’ve scheduled your service, which is very considerate of them. Will use again.

So far I’ve used this company once. I called them out when I was very pregnant and it would take me forever to walk up the stairs to the master bedroom — forget about scrubbing. I had Theresa and her team and they did a great job. So great, that I’m calling them up right now since my baby is here and my mom has left.

I can only attest to the customer service for Keep It Clean With Raylene since I bought the service as a Christmas present for relatives in Philadelphia. I called and spoke with Raylene and she went above and beyond to help me set this up for them. Not only did she print out a certificate for me, but she made it look Christmas-​y and hand delivered it with some company swag. I was beyond thrilled. They are excited to try out the cleaning service and if it is anything like the customer service I am sure it will be 5 stars!

I cannot rave enough about this cleaning service.
I made my first appointment when I was moving out of my old house and just wanted a decent clean so I made sure to get my security deposit back. Due to a last minute family emergency had to cancel my clean and both Mindy and Raylene could not have been nicer about it. Then when I was back they made sure to get me into the first possibly appointment time.
I was told that I would have three cleaners for $ 113 an hour, and only two showed up. Not a big deal at all, I wasn’t bothered. The whole thing took an hour and a half but when they called to get my final price, they only charged me for an hour because if there were three people that’s how long it would’ve taken.
I got a woman named Theresa on Team 4, so ask for them!
They were quick, thorough, and truly the nicest.
Not only that but I got a call from Mindy afterwards to make sure I was happy with the job that they did.
I just moved into a new apartment and next time I need a great house clean, I will absolutely be using this company.

I would be willing to certainly give «Keep it Clean with Raylene» a try, except that they’re perpetually unavailable! Their ‘customer service’ reps are also extremely vague about availability to the point of being unprofessional and even cryptic. I have called twice this week to ask about a cleaning. The first time, the woman on the phone told me that she would get back to me, like within the next few minutes. I gave her my name and number and waited 24 hours (thankfully not by the phone) and she did not. The next time I called, they left me hanging AGAIN. I asked if they were available within the next two weeks and the woman on the phone THIS time (who could very well have been the same person I spoke to the first time) said that they were booked through the Labor Day holiday. Does that stop you from making an appointment like a week in advance? I don’t think that’s too out of the question. I understand that you’re a «busy» and very «Important» cleaning service in the area, but really? I was given conflicting and vague information both times I called to inquire about their cleaning service.

After having a repeated, negative experience with United Maid of America, I lost hope in home cleaning. The quality of their service was somewhat good, but the professionalism was incredibly lacking. I searched Unilocal in hopes to find a home cleaning service that would not rob my purse yet would provide quality, reliability and professional service.
Yesterday I had my first cleaning with Raylene and was incredibly happy with the results. Appointment making was a breeze. For me that is crucial since my working hours are radical. The three women that did the cleaning were friendly, professional and quick. The quality of their cleaning is superb. I have a heavily shedding dog and a cat. Besides a few spots and a few dog hairs that were missed (which I believe is bound to happen), my two bedroom, two story apartment was sparkling after they left. That evening, my boyfriend came in and said «Wow! It actually looks like a real apartment now!» :)

I was away for the summer and wanted a fresh start when I returned. So having read the reviews, I decided to call Raylene, and from the moment the phone was answered, I was in good hands! She patiently took down all of my information, gave me a series of options, and booked my cleaning. Also, as any good business does, she followed up prior to the scheduled cleaning to confirm all of the details.
When I returned home a day after the cleaning, my apartment was spotless, and all of the hard to reach places were totally clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Raylene to anyone looking for a cleaning service!

A team of two friendly ladies came to my new disgusting apartment and not only did exactly what I asked them to do but also left the apartment spotless. They clean walls, doors, everything. I have a 1 year old and their help was huge. I’m hiring them to come biweekly because that’s all I can afford right now but would love to have them once a week.
Raylene was on top of everything, really happy with our choice!

Very thorough team — I was very impressed to see the before and after. There was not a speck of dust in sight, which is great as I’ve been sneezing like there’s no tomorrow. They missed a couple spots, but not enough trouble to take away a star.

So I’ve been skeptical of home cleaning companies but did my research and chose Keep It Clean with Raylene based on reviews. I needed someone to come in a clean b/​c I was super busy this month and last month and my mom was coming from out of town. I called and was happily surprised by a peppy voice on the other end of the line. She gave me all of the info and answered all of my questions. Although they don’t work on the weekends, they do use three people each time. The price was right and the day before my cleaning the office called to confirm and tell me that although they usually have three cleaners, I would only be getting two BUT they would give me a ½ hour for free every hour which I was OK with. The day of the cleaning the team (team 4!) was 5 minutes early and took three hours to clean about 1,200 square feet of my house. They cleaned all of the ceiling fans, ceiling corners, under all of the furniture, all of the surfaces, my toaster oven!, mopped the floors, did the dishes, scrubbed everything in the bathroom, and cleaned the blinds (and lots of other stuff that you’d expect). The whole time, the two cleaners worked hard and didn’t do a lot of talking to me or one another and I was able to go about my morning without disruption. They asked questions when they had them and they encouraged me to look over their work so they could get everything right. I did ask them to redo something and they did and it was great! I also want to mention that I have a 25 lb dog who loves, loves, loves people and the cleaners were great with him. They threw his toy when he nudged it near them and they talked to him in puppy talk when he sat in their way. My mom was there for the cleaning too and gave it her seal of approval (important right?). I would have preferred to have them come on the weekend but despite that, they did a great job and I will definitely have them come back. They do give a discount if you schedule for bi-​weekly cleanings but I’m not sure that I need that but I will ask them back once a season.

Professional, meticulous and very nice! They cleaned everything to perfection (including the toaster oven). I was very impressed with the overall service — both the owner (Raylene) returned my calls promptly when trying to schedule an appointment and the women arrived on time just as promised.
I can’t wait to have them return!
