We also specialize in thoroughly checking your vehicle’s transmission for FREE! We will do a full diagnosis, road test, fluid check, & scan the vehicle at no charge to you. All major repairs come with our standard 12 months, 12,000 mile warranty.

History

Established in 1961.

We are an independent, family-​owned, third generation transmission repair facility that has been serving the local Philadelphia community since 1961. Our skilled technicians are also trained with years of experience to correctly diagnose & fix your automobile. Joe Pirrone Transmissions is also home to Pirrone & Ellershaw Racing. Most notably, Joe Pirrone Transmissions is home to the award winning Boss Hydro 1933 Willys coupe that is a multiple NHRA national event winner, and prestigious show car.

Manager

Devin is the third generation of Pirrone’s to be running Joe Pirrone Transmissions. After his father, Rocky Pirrone, shifted his focus to Pirrone & Ellershaw Racing on a full-​time basis, Devin took over the shop in late 2007. Devin is extremely motivated to carry-​on the family tradition of providing excellent customer service, as well as serving the local community. Devin is an avid Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, 76ers, and especially Philadelphia Eagles fan.
