Herbert Martin Schecter, DO MD

After moving to Philly I needed to find a new doctor closer to my home. I found Dr. Schecter through my insurance company. Since he was in my network, I figured I’d give him a try. Although I had an apponitment, I had to wait AN HOUR before I was even taken into the exam room. Once in there, I waited another 15 mintues. Finally Dr. Schecter arrived. He was nice, but I really did not feel confident about the things he was saying. I kind of felt like he was dismissing what I thought was going on with me, even though I’ve been dealing with it for a months and he’d only heard about my symptoms a minute ago. Also, I could not believe that he actually answered his cell phone while in the exam room! After the call he apologized and said it was his brother in law, but still!
