Specialties

We take a very unique and personalized approach to your image and professional wardrobe. Every appointment starts by getting to know you, your professional position, the audience (s) you are in front of, and the current state of your wardrobe. From there, we help to determine and evaluate your current image vs. your necessary image, and put a plan in place to close any gap there may be between the two.

History

Established in 2006.

Brian Lipstein founded the business after purchasing his first suit, which luckily for him was a custom suit. Not fully understanding what he was getting, Brian asked a lot of questions about how the suit was made and why it should have cost him $ 2,000 or more. Upon learning the finer details of men’s handmade clothing, he saw an opportunity to work with men to ease their pain of shopping for, and wearing, suits that don’t fit correctly.

Utilizing the resources available to him as an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, Brian applied for and was accepted into the Wharton Venture Initiation Program. Here he developed the business plan, products, and services for 18 months before opening up the company’s flagship location, a 2nd floor, private showroom and fitting studio located in the heart of Rittenhouse.

The company continues to provide executive service, in your home or office, in addition to their comfortable meeting space at 17th and Spruce. By Apt only

Meet the Business Owner

Brian L.

Business Owner

I started this business after buying my first suit — a custom suit — in college from a Master Tailor. I was not into fashion, had never owned a suit, and frankly didn’t understand how suits could cost so much. I began asking many questions, each of which peaked my curiosity and led to another. Before long, I saw a great opportunity to help other men out there just like me.

I have had a very different approach to this business than you might find from your run-of-the mill sales guy out there. I began by learning everything I could. I trained with tailors to learn how to fit, alter, construct and adjust patterns. I trained with fabric houses to learn different materials, weaves, and patterns of cloth. Along the way, I discovered the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) and began training with image consultants, eventually becoming the first AICI male certified image consultant in the OH/PA Chapter of AICI. I am here to help guide you through your experience…
