I had a good experience here. My brother and I both go to Dr. Farber and I always feel he is knowledgeable and personable. He tries to take his time and is accommodates a lot of different patients. So speaking as a pharmacist, I get why the wait times might not be ideal for everyone. At the end of the day, I personally find it more difficult to find the right doctor and I couldn’t be more satisfied here.

I see nothing has changed with his office practices. I went to him years ago, and walked out after not only waiting an hour to see him, but then waiting again in the back room. This was every visit. I gave him 3 chances.

Dr. Farber treats my mother and I could not ask for better care. He is always thorough with his examinations and makes sure she gets the best care possible. I love that he could be booked but will squeeze you in if necessary. I would rather wait in an office that will see me within a week than have to book an appointment a couple of months out and only wait 15 min. The staff here is always so extremely friendly and helpful. Sad that a great office has poor reviews because I really think if you’re looking for what’s most important, patient care, this office is excellent.

The only reason for the two stars is because the wait here is HORRENDOUS!!! You’ll be lucky if you’re out of the office 90 minutes after your scheduled appointment, which angers me because my time is actually important. Waiting for a doctor for almost an hour after you’re scheduled is actually very insulting to me. The ONLY reason I continue to come here is because Dr Farber is great. He’s attentive, caring, friendly and is top notch with the latest treatments in dermatology. They would get five stars if they could get their timing right.

The worst, most messed up doctor’s office ever. I made an appointment in advance, showed up on time only to find out that my appointment was cancelled. No one ever notified me, not at all. After a long wait they finally took me in but made me wait another 30 minutes for the doctor to show up. The doctor acted sort of immature and strange and also told me he was the wrong one and I should have gone to another doctor in the practice. He said he has no clue why they made an appointment with him. I got pretty annoyed, asked for a refund of my co-pay and was trying to make an appointment to the correct doctor. Receptionists there seem very disinterested in doing any work and seemed so spaced out and unprofessional that I simply walked out. Have no reason to trust the practice that is so disorganized. Not coming back, that’s for sure

My family used to jokingly refer to him as «Dr. Wait-forever Farber,» and for a good reason. I’ve never experienced such long wait times at any doctor’s office! Despite the satisfactory experiences we had had with Dr. Farber, we’ve since moved to a much faster dermatologist.

I would not go to this guy for anything. He didn’t know much information. Not very intelligent. He was very careless and very snobby. Very overpriced. Please find another dermatologist to go to. One that actually cares about people and not his reflection.

Amazing dermatologist and Cosmetic surgeon! Have my whole family going to him. Both Philadelphia and Narberth offices are great and convenient, extremely helpful and understanding staff and physician. He sees things from a mile away and can detect any skin issue right away and save you much hassle at a later point! Has a great new skin care line, which he also sells online… awesome website too… check it out… www.farberdermatology.com
