Me and my two girlfriends needed to find a house with enough space and bathrooms to keep our sanity. Not only did George and his agent Gary find us that space, they found us a house with a bathroom for each of us and room to spare. Every step of the way George went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. I could recommend a business or agency more!!!

I was having trouble renting out my property myself and was tired of dealing with problems so after looking online I decided to give them a shot. George is the absolute best! He took care of everything and was incredibly thorough. He always answered my calls and replied to my texts and emails almost instantly. More importantly, he had my house rented out in 8 days! I couldn’t recommend them enough.

We live in California but own a large colonial in Philadelphia that we used to live in and currently rent out. For the first 3 years after we moved, we rented out the property and handled all of the management on our own. Not an easy task to deal with Philadelphia contractors from California. In fact, it was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. When it was time to rent out the property again, we knew that we would only consider renting if we hired a property manager. Well, this was not an easy task either. Research any of the property managers in Philadelphia and you will be inundated with negative reviews. Even our realtor could not recommend anyone to us. There is one property manager that, curiously, has several positive reviews and we decided to contact him. After several back and forths, this property manager became very unprofessional and we decided he was not the right fit for us. In fact, his actions were very shortsighted and he lost a customer.
We came upon George James and after initially speaking with him, we knew he knew what he was talking about. My husband «interviewed» him and then I did as well. Even our realtor approved after speaking with him. The tenants moved in the week of Thanksgiving, with a punch list of items. George James and his people handled everything and we were not bothered at all. In fact, we are so happy that we have someone to handle any and all issues with our tenants that may arise. This has given us peace of mind and alleviated almost all of the stress of renting out a property from across the country.
We wanted to wait a few months before reviewing George James so we could get a sense of how it all worked. We will continue to update this as time goes on. But, so far so great! George James has been worth every penny and we will definitely recommend him!

George helped me find an apartment in Manayunk quickly and efficiently. After deciding to take a new job, I had very little time to look for a place and was luckily connected with George through a listing I saw online. The apartment I initially inquired about was not available in my time frame, so George offered to put together a list of available properties within my price range. He was understanding of the fact that I wasn’t too familiar with the leasing process, and was prompt in answering my countless questions. He was informative and accommodating through every step of the process, going out of his way to show me the apartments I was interested in on a Sunday evening because it was the only time I was available. I probably would not have found an apartment before starting my new job without George’s help and am very thankful.
