From Americas First Pizzeria, Lombardis Coal Oven in NYC comes Gennaros Tomato Pie. This Philadelphia location is an homage to our founder, Gennaro Lombardi. This is not our first pizzeria in Philadelphia, we previously where located on Rittenhouse Square on 18th & Walnut Streets which closed after 7 years due to redevelopment of the area. Our thin crust NY style dough is layers with fresh milk mozzarella and splattered with spoonfuls of hand crushed tomato sauce on top, just the way Gennaro did it when he first opened Lombardis on Spring Street in 1905.
