Fearless Athletics CrossFit Penn’s Landing

I came here when visiting a friend in Philly and needed to train (especially since I was in peak month of my program cycle aka lift heavy all day). The space is located right outside of a major bridge which was actually pretty cool and scenic. When I walked in, the space was huge and tall. I didn’t see any rigs but it had all the essentials of a crossfit gym: barbells, rings, boxes, jump ropes, and fit people.
Being a weightlifter, It was good to see they had some kilo plates lying around (those colorful red/​blue/​yellow/​green plates). I didn’t notice those plates until the end along with the olympic bars (that spin forever). Regardless, if you are trying to use a good bar, go to the far back left corner of the gym and you’ll find these gems. I warmed up with some snatches with a regular bar and black rubber plates. Since they were in pounds, I couldn’t count (aka was too lazy to convert) to kilos and almost hit a PR that day! Who knew being lazy to count would almost have me set a new goal.
Luckily I came in with my friend who knew the coach and let me lift for free. All in All, if you are looking for general fitness and with welcoming coaches, I would highly recommend Fearless Athletics.

Excellent space and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Had no idea it existed until recently.
