I purchased a groupon for 8 sessions of laser hair removal. The first session I showed up unshaven because a friend of mine had received laser hair removal at a different location and had told me that they had trimmed her hair to the appropriate length for laser treatments. When the technician had seen this she made me feel stupid and abruptly told me we’d have to reschedule but had nothing available for a month. Each time I went after that she had made me feel uncomfortable. The process was painful and I wasn’t seeing any results but I continued to go finishing out the entire cycle. Today I still have just as much hair and when I started and am very skeptical of hair removal places.

Purchased a Groupon for this place and they were misleading about how long the treatment would be. The actual cavitation part was only 25 mins and only 5 of those minutes were them actually doing something. I’ve been to 4 different spas in 3 states and this was by far the lowest technique I’ve seen done. Complete waste of time and money. Also my appointment started 15 minutes late cause she kept taking calls. How professional!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Located in the dark corner of a strip mall, this business was a fright before I even stepped out of the car. Inside, I was greeted by a Russian girl at the front desk with two black eyes, who barely spoke any English, and a very small and un-​decorated waiting room. I went back into the room to begin my laser hair removal treatment, when immediately the lady informed me that if I actually wanted all my hair removed as the groupon advertised, I would have to pay more money, which I was unwilling to do, as the groupon clearly stated that it was for a full Brazilian. She was unprofessional, didn’t explain the procedure at all, and didn’t use gloves. I’d bet anything that none of these women are licensed to perform these services. Luckily groupon was able to give me a full refund due to my less than pleasant experience. Save your money and just go get a wax.

Not only did I waisted my money for hair removal, but also lost lots of time and had to go thru pain every single time because they have no idea how to operate them. Their guarantee and promises equals their owner word and professionalism

Save your money. I got a groupon for the «cavitation» treatments, and the only thing it emptied was my wallet. not fat cells. I also tried their weight loss chocolate, (not cheap at $ 50/​box) and half of it was old/​discolored. The place used to be nice but looks nothing like the photos online… it’s a cluttered mess. And the women constantly jabbering at one another in Russian… displays with old/​dated crap inside of them… doesn’t not make me feel like I’m in a spa by any stretch of the imagination. It also takes them FOREVER to return your call/​they rarely pick up the phone when you call to schedule (I tried rescheduling an appointment, and finally just gave up). I’ve just resigned myself to $ 130 down the drain, but am posting this review so you don’t waste your time or money going to this place.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Don’t ever get a wax done here and especially not a bikini wax. These people don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t ever let them get near you with hot wax. OUCH!

I bought a groupon for laser hair removal a month ago. After I bought it, I tried calling to make an appt. After trying for 2 days (calling multiple times a day), someone finally answered the phone and when I said I was calling to make a laser apt, they said their tech was not available then, and that they would have a tech call me back. This was communicated very rudely to me like they couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone. the tech called me back within 2 hours, and said they didn’t have an available apt for almost a month. She didn’t even tell me her name and she was in such a rush and she didn’t bother to answer any of my Q’s, other than to say see you then.
This has been my experience before I went in for my first treatment.

Rudest people I have ever met! I went in for a job interview for a laser position and I was left waiting there for 45 minutes! I felt very uncomfortable as the women just spoke Russian to each other and acted like I was inconveniencing them. They were clearly nicer to their Russian clientele. As I sat there waiting for 45 minutes all these women did was call people to cancel and move appointments. When I was finally interviewed, the «doctor» (who mind you is a GI doctor which has nothing to do with skin care) was very condescending and barely looked me in the eye and did not even apologize for keeping me waiting. Their front desk area is a mess with people «files» all over the place. It was also complete chaos. The interior wasn’t the greatest either. It was very dark and uninviting. It clearly had not been cleaned in a while since their were actual leaves (not decorative) just sitting on the table. The only reason this place got one star is bc I don’t have the option of giving it none. I will never recommend or return and will be sure to warn everyone I know either personally or in the skin care business of this place.

My husband took me here for a birthday massage and I couldn’t be happier with it. The staff was amazing, loved the owner! She was super friendly and made me feel so special with it being my birthday and just recently having a baby. The place from outside is a little sketchy but don’t let that fool you, when you go in each room is decorated very nicely. I will definitely be going back soon!

Complete waste of money. Any place that needs groupon deals means they need to pull people in for business some how. Ofcourse people don’t wanna pay a lot of money — but you get what you pay for! Laser treatment here is a waste of money. They lady who does it rushed me at almost every session. It was horrible. I had some reduction not he bottom part of my legs but absolutely no difference in my bikini area and upper legs.

I’ve purchased a Goupon for ultrasound cavitation. I didn’t see result on my second session, but on my third session my lower abs seem slimmer. My sister and co-​worker even notice that I was slimming in my mid-​section and lower abs and so I told them about the spa. I should of take a before picture. Can’t wait to finish up the 12^th session.

Came back for my 10^th session today– still fantastic. The staff here is genuinely happy for you when you see results! Amazing place.

Olga is much more friendly these days. Maybe she has to get to know you to be nice or it’s a cultural thing. At this point I’ve used this spa for a series of chemical peels (I don’t think they made my skin look better though), laser hair removal, and permanent make up (the results weren’t as pronounced as I thought they’d be but maybe I was disillusioned to begin with). Oh yes, and a colonic. I crapped so much afterwards I probably dropped a pound or two. All and all it’s an okay place.

Good luck getting past the rude heavily-​accented front desk staff. I called at 11 AM when they opened to schedule an appointment, someone took my number and said, «I’ll call you when I get my appointment book open.» At 4 PM no one had called, so I tried again and was told, «Did it occur to you that we might be too busy to call you back?» Seriously? Did it occur to you that I don’t have to patronize you at all? And they didn’t even know I had a Groupon. (kind enough to refund, luckily). Don’t even think of it. OH yeah, and their earliest avail was for two weeks.

I purchased groupon deal for laser hair removal for my underarms about 1 year ago. Honestly was very skeptical at once by reading the reviews about this place. After my first treatment I saw little reduction, which obviously made me suspicious about the actual result I would have seen after several treatments even though a laser tech explained me that I should not expect Wow result at the beginning.
Only after 3^rd treatment the hair started to respond the way I wanted. I finished my all 6 treatments back in October and can confirm that my right underarms only has about 5 percent hair and my left one just a little more. So far so good. I see couple of hair here or there. I just got another groupon offer for my Brazilian and feel confident to go back and start a new package.
Everything is good except it is a very busy place and sometimes you have to wait for about 15 – 20 minutes before you are seen by a laser technician.
Oops almost forgot to mention I had 3 IPL for pore reduction, which I also bought through Groupon. Believe me or not I did not have too big pores to start with and IPL in my case was helpful in overall improvement of my skin. I would like to do my whole body laser hair, but unfortunately can not afford, the price is too expensive.

I completed two more laser hair removal sessions at Enigma and unfortunately the result weren’t any better. The technician used a completely different type of laser for the last two sessions. She explained that the other laser was supposed to get rid of most of the hair and the second was for touch-​ups. Since over ²⁄₃ of the hair was still there, she got the side eye on that one.
I was optimistic after session 4 and even more after session 5. I thought that it was finally working! Then I took a few extra weeks, like two, before session 6. All of the hair grew back. All of it. I ended up canceling the last session. What would be the point? A complete waste of money and time.

***UPDATE***
I have had 2 treatment thus far and the results are inline with my original expectations. During my second treatment the technician provided detailed explanations of what she was doing and the results I could expect after the treatment. The hair on my treatment areas is getting thinner and thinner, I have many areas that have not had hair growth in several weeks. I had one treatment on my chin and I’ve had no regrowth over the last 4 weeks. During a recent 8 day vacation, I didn’t have to shave any of the treated areas.

I love this place! They always have new machines for all kind of service. I have done laser lipo treatment and it’s help a lot!!! Stuff is so friendly. I like the decoration is well. Good place to relax and have good result !!!

i have been investigating med spas in the area, so this is based on my initial consultation:
no stairs to get in, fully handicapped accessible, BUT the navigation back into treatment rooms may not have room for a wheelchair.
waiting room: EEEK! tiny plastic chairs, a few couches that tried to eat me (sank under me) very low, hard to get up from. its also dark, and strong smells of incense and candles. If you have asthma or allergies DO NOT GO IN.

the staff constantly chattering in Russian, and seemed to be friendly to Russian speakers only. seriously. their demeanor was MUCH nicer to the Russian speakers
only one of the staff seemed to be fluent in English, and all instructions form the aesthetician to the staff were conducted in Russian, even «show her the sunscreen».
the consultation room was claustrophobic, BARELY room for the two of us to sit down, seriously tiny and about as dark as the waiting room.
when i asked simple questions about treatment or application, the aesthetician could answer me (although its lucky i am used to a strong accent) but the staff trying to show me the sunscreen had trouble communicating with me AT ALL.
staff was dismissive, unfriendly, and spent most of their time talking about family matters loudly in Russian in the waiting room
(yes i understand some Russian, no they didn’t know that)
the aesthetician explained the procedures pro and con with some effort. She did go into some detail about what causes sun spots and the difficulty in eradicating them
she did explain how much peeling to expect, based on that this is a light peel, which makes their prices average.
cons: no discussion of home care, or pre or post therapy treatment other than «buy our sunscreen»
also no suggestion that my skin issues might be hormonal
so if you speak Russian, and can deal with incense and candles. this may be a good place. otherwise avoid it.

A-​OK place. The interior is BEAUTIFUL, and very serene, if it wasn’t in a strip mall in northeast Philly it could be in some posh hotel downtown. I’ve gone to quite a few spas and beauticians in northeast Philadelphia, and most of the ladies are Russian. Once you get used to them, you realize they are not stand-​off-​ish at all. That’s just their demeanor. I came in for a Groupon laser session, and though the paperwork/​consent forms do go into detail, the lady that did my laser just basiclaly reviewed the important points with me. It was quick, no nonsense, efficient. For a relaxing facial or massage i guess efficient isn’t great, but for a small area to be lasered it certainly was nice to be in and out within 15 – 20 minutes. She also gave me a coupon with all their specials listed, and some item like th massage and teeth whitening sound like they are a worth a try.
