Ordered the lunch special delivery and a lady picked up the phone and started shouting at me like I was the reason she was born to yell at. Besides that, the delivery person was nice and came by with a smile so that cheered me up. The food was super bland and the meat didn’t even feel/taste like meat. It was like rubber. The soups tasted watery and rice was probably the best out of everything.

The chicken wings were GREAT, delivery was very fast… But the broccoli was horrible! And i felt it was a little pricey for what we got.

Here is a brief but accurate review. Chicken low mein was good, I’d give it 4 stars. General tsos chicken was fair — 21\2, maybe 3 stars. Boneless BBQ ribs — tasty sauce, ribs were overcooked — dry. That’s another 21\2 stars. Egg rolls — blah! 2 stars. Crab rangoons — BANGIN’ 5 stars.

East Lake is our go-to place in the area for Chinese delivery! We order from here on nearly a weekly basis, so I figured it was time for a positive review: This place serves solidly good Americanized Chinese food. The portions are generous, and the veggies always seem fresh and the meat tender. The food never strikes me as too oily, which can be a problem for me with some Chinese delivery places. Recommended dishes: In terms of appetizers, I enjoy their hot and sour soup and wanton soup. I always get one or the other. My fiancé loves the giant Vegetable Eggrolls, which you can get free with a dinner meal combo, or if you order a certain amount of food. They’re huge(full of veggies). While I’m personally not a Crab Rangoon fan, friends say they make quality crab rangoon. Finally, when it comes to entrees, we both particularly love the chicken with mixed vegetables, the hunan chicken with vegetables, and the boneless sparerib meal combo is delicious. I also enjoy their chicken or shrimp Lo Main and their pork fried rice. I like ordering things spicy. The only complaint I have is that this place caters to an «American palate»(duh), so the food isn’t as spicy as I’d like(even if I ask for spicy), and definitely isn’t authentic Chinese food(i.e. in a Chinatown sense). I like authentic Chinese food, but Americanized Chinese is what most people are familiar with, and these folks do it well enough that I keep coming back. The person on the phone sometimes doesn’t speak fantastic English, but they’re very courteous and service is fast and dependable, so again it’s not a big deal. They’re also cash only. In sum: This is the best Chinese delivery/takeout place in the area. Their food is good, fresh, not too greasy, dependable, convenient, and delivered fast. Don’t expect anything fancy here. This is a hole in the wall pick-up and delivery place. But it’s great to have quality delivery places to rely on when you don’t have time to cook dinner.

This place is NASTY! I’ve seen cook hand batter chicken with no gloves amd pluck excess batter off his finger into bucket with chicken. The last straw for me was when I saw another cook blow snot out his nose into a kitchen sink and not even wash his hand better going back to cook… I cancelled my order and left never to return again! Someone really needs to call the health department on them.

The Best Crab Ragoon I have ever had! They do not skimp on the filling. Great to order for get togethers as appetizers-or a new snack with some grilling for game day!

This is my go-to for chinese take out/delivery. Friendly and good service; solid and flavorful food. I agree with Stephano — the only con is they don’t take credit.

What can I say? This is just a really solid Chinese take-out place. One of the only cons I can think of is they don’t take credit; must have cash.
