I love the new creamers that Dunkin Doughnuts has. For years I have liked their coffee but hated the basic creamer that they had. I just stayed in Philadelphia and across the street was a Dunkin Doughnuts. I stopped in and discovered that they had finally changed from the liquid flavor shots to real flavored creamers. The Mocha is great but the caramel is my favorite.

This is my morning stop before work. And after multiple, i mean MULTIPLE visits I give them a solid 4 stars. They are extremely busy with the morning rush. But I always leave in and out in less than 2 minutes. If it’s just coffee, less than 60 seconds. If I order some food, maybe 2 – 3 minutes I’m out the door. Amazing. I used to work for Starbucks way back when in high school so I give them mad props. Great management, and great workers. They always seem like they’re working together to get the job done. I can tell who the manager is, and who he is overseeing. And he does a great job. The rest of the employees show great team work in this store, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. My only DD I’d go to on my morning commute.

Even though I love DD’s like a New Englander should, I don’t usually rate chains like this, but I was moved to rate this place because of the amazing service we received when we happened in here. I was in Philly for unhappy circumstances, and it was the start of what promised to be a tough day. As I say, we happened in here by chance, after searching unfamiliar and not-incredibly-safe neighborhoods to the northwest for coffee. Whoever manages this place should be snatched-up by a Fortune-500 company for his/her abilities at assembling a team and motivating them — the diverse and no-doubt poorly-paid staff were incredibly jovial, friendly, professional, and efficient. It seemed like they not only sincerely liked helping customers but each other, as well. It may seem silly for me to pontificate about a Dunkin Donuts, and it probably is, but this place was a pleasant surprise and a much-needed island of kindness in the midst of a very crappy time, so I thought it deserved recognition.

Typical dunkin donuts, not bad or good. Better than any other coffee options near or on the way to my job. The three stars is due to the fact that I did not expect much from the location and they delivered fast and friendly service.
