Design On The Edge was born from over 25 years experience in the Home Furnishings Industry. Owner Robert Petril a Philadelphia native, has traveled the world designing spaces and furnishings. He’s spent time living and working in Italy and China which has allowed him to gain a unique global experience and perspective on global design.

I’m a designer of furniture and interiors, and I believe that if you can dream it you can do it. I apply that very basic belief to every aspect of my life and work. After my family, my greatest passion is to design and create things that are new, unique, and on the edge. Creativity and inspiration are all around us everyday. Everywhere we look! Anyone can recognize when something is beautiful, the secret is, and my passion is, to take the time and learn why it is.
